Mayfield wins 42-24 on this brisk fall evening.

Russellville's end zones are pretty rough too. If I remember right one end zone has quite a but of uphill slope, and the other one drops off the face of the Earth. I remember going there in the late 80s and seeing one of our(Caldwell County) receivers dive for a TD catch and he went completely out of view.

What happened to Murray's QB, Utley? Will he be out an extended amount of time?

Breathitt County may have something, but how will that something do in a game against Mayfield, LCA, or Somerset?

Outside of the top 3, maybe 4, I can't see anybody else winning the state championship this year. I think we'll see if Somerset and LCA belong in that group after Friday night.

Boyle County will win state the easiest of these 3.

Are there no good girl's players in west Kentucky? All I ever see in these rankings are east of Elizabethtown.

Did anybody else notice Breathitt County's rpi is 0.666? A dream season where everybody underestimates your team. Did somebody go down to the Crossroads?
