Once again, McCloud and Cinnamon do not play the same position.

Both of these two kids have played basketball their entire life. They are not ''football players'' they are athletes who contribute to the basketball progam.

IMO, there were two different calls that had a major impact on the game. The charging call on Taylor with a minute and change to go was terrible. The kid was on skates, and when contact was made he flopped. The other call was when Cinnamon was called for traveling after the pass had already been made.

What's the problem then? Patterson doesn't bring the ball up the floor, he starts at the 4 and occasionaly plays the 3.

Short did not take snaps at QB. It wasn't really a 7-on-7 deal. Coach Jaggers had the kids running routes, catching a few passes and getting back into the swing of things.

Mercer County will have a strong player in Danyelle Honaker coming back to fill an inside presence. She also has been devolping a nice perimeter game. With the help of teammate Abra Sickles Mercer County might suprise some people.

Freshman Clay Cinnamon threw a no-hitter against Somerset.

Cinnamon is a righty. Outstanding performance.

Another very good performance by Mercer County's Matthew Robertson.

Bobby Perry is from Durham, North Carolina. N.C State, North Carolina, Duke nor Wake Forest showed any interest. I guess Tubby thought he was getting a steal.
