Anyone know how the recruiting is going for any of the Mercer County seniors?

haven't heard of anyone signing. Couple schools that made commitments have since backed out. Georgetown College invited some up recently but have not heard anything concrete.

Heard last week that UK asked one to be a preferred walkon and heard that Troy State was interested in a couple of players.Alot of it depends on your core GPA and your ACT scores.

Heard Donald Walker committed to Georgetown.

Heard that Chris Lewis and Freeman Edwards made a visit to Georgetown this week and that Cory Jackson is going there next week.

what positions do these guys play that are committed and visiting Georgetown? Did anybody hear how Kaelin Ammons visit to Georgetown went a week or so ago?

Jackson and Walker are running backs.

 

Lewis is a linebacker.

 

Edwards is a DB.

Walker was recruited as an outside linebacker. Lewis is being recruited as a linebacker and Edwards as a safety/corner. Jackson, of course, is being recruited for offense.

Donald Walker officially signed with Georgetown today. Freeman Edwards is signing with Georgetown on Friday. No news yet on Chris Lewis or Cory Jackson.

Andre Brooks has also signed with Kentucky Christian University. This class of seniors at Mercer definitely have the talent to play at the next level. Good luck, Andre!

Where ever Chris Lewis goes he will be a success. He is a great player, student and just all round great kid. Morehead is lucky to have him

Andre Brooks hasn't signed and from what I hear KCU is hoping he will commit to them.
