McCloud and Griffith are both as good as Yeast thats not the point. The point is that McCloud and Griffith werent running the ball as strong as Yeast. Thats why he got so many carries not as punishment to the other 2 backs but because he was running hard. All the backs are goin to have to do job that is correct not just a selected one for the game but if somebody does the job and gets it done why not let him do the job again and again until he doesnt get the job done? -

Something special definitely happened here last year with football. We have the same excitement and young players ready to show what they can do. An awesome coaching staff to lead the way! -

I think it was few of our football booster dads working on the stencil. I'm sure they will be busy tomorrow painting. We've been fortunate to have some parents always around and willing to help do anything you ask. -

I did some research and this is what I found out about the Greeneville High School Green Devils are out of Eastern Tennessee (between Pigeon Forge and Bristol) -They are a Class 4A school in TN, with an enrollment of over 1,100 -Checking past records, they have floated right around .500, going 4-6 last year. -They just hired a new head coach this year out of Asheville, NC. He won a state championship with his school in NC for the 2006 season. Apparently Greeneville went after him pretty serious, paying him a six-figure salary, boosters buying him a brand new truck, no teaching classes, etc. -won 21-7 last week over Jefferson County HS (another 4A school) -Offensively, they run the spread and look very good doing it. -

:thumb: Agreed Boyle has one of the toughest schedules in the state! -
I saw Lincoln play Bell last Friday and they did not impress me at all they have potential they just have to get everyone clickin on all cylinders. I will go with Bardstown this game... if it was later on in the season I would go with Lincoln after they get a few games under there belt they will be a force!

I dont think Hunter's injury was that severe I saw him back at practice today... We will just have to wait and see how severe it is come Friday night with the way he performs. Jordan had 10 carries for 115 yds. with 2 touchdowns. -

I believe it was #22 Nick Reed that caused the fumble. I think several players were a little flat, but all in all - it was the first game, room for improvement but I expect a good season from this team. There are a lot of players ready to step up that didn't get the opportunity last year. -

Wayne sure did have a passion for the game! My prayers go out to his wife Marianne, and children Bill and Dawn and to the Titans baseball teams (past and current), Coach Shope & Coach Chitwood. Coach Davis was so actively involved with the athletic programs (football & basketball too) at MCSH and will be greatly missed.
