Final.

I just came home from the game (enjoyed the game with AdoptedAdmiral). Here are some thoughts:

 

- 4-5 interceptions by Danville's QB

- 2 botched snaps on punts by Danville (one led to a safety)

- Horrible defense in Danville's secondary; receivers were running around like they were basically in practice; wide open all night

- Danville seemed to have a little momentum in the 3rd, which was quickly drained by an INT; then they seemed to have it again on the next possession and had it 4th and inches - for whatever reason they tried to run it up the middle with the RB instead of the QB sneak and they took a loss and a loss of momentum (the QB could've fallen forward and gotten a first down)

- the better team won tonight

 

Hopefully the Ads will rebound next week...

WOW and people were shocked by our loss last night.

To be fair, Madison Central is a pretty good 6A team. However, they had one of their best players out, their best other player was injured early, their starting QB got taken out, and the backup may have just made himself the new starter. Nice depth.

He may have, but I don't recall the announcers mentioning that he got the ball again.

Hats off to the Indians tonight. We were whipped up front on both sides of the ball. Their QB had time to wave at the TV cameras everytime they tried to pass, and the wideouts were open just about everytime. The 5 picks tonight killed us. But the wideouts HAVE to help the QB out by going to the ball instead of watching the DB pick it off. We were tired and out of gas midway into the 2nd quarter, and it showed how much MC was better conditioned than us. In the 4th quarter they were still going full speed. Suck it up ADS and let's get to work. We'll be OK with hard work. But it can't happen at the "Manor" it has to be done on the practice field. Again hats off to the Indians. The Mudhole you stomped in us will hopefully make us better. And good luck to you guys the rest of the season.

Ouch...Sounds like the Ads took one on the nose.

This win didn't suprise me. The Indians are tuff at home. Was very interested in this game as MC is in our district ( play them at MC Sept 21th) and my Cards travel to Danville and take them on Sept 14th.

They played at Danville. This was a tough loss just like any Danville loss is tough. Clark Co. had a tough loss too so it wll be interesting to see how everyone rebounds from Opening night of the 2007 season. Sounds like MC will be making some noise this year!!!!
