Estill dominated throughout, starters played first series of the second half making it 45-0 before turning it over to the junior varsity. Didn't pile up the rushing yards tonight due to quick scores, and short field to work with, but still managed over 300.

Estill added 268 rushing yards last night giving them a total of 1790 (I believe) rushing yards through the first five games.

Fleming had all their players back other than the ones with season ending injuries and it turns out they're not a bad football team, especially defensively. Long drives for Estill, in a game that was never in question. Congratulations to both teams.

I agree with you on the heart of the Bobcats, it seemed like it was non existant for most of the game, but, Estill's gameplan was not to keep the ball out of Breathitt's hands, that's just the double wing. The 3-4 touchdown passes Breathitt dropped were all in the same series, so it wouldn't have been 3 or 4 scores, it would have been 1.

Estill should have their way with Fleming this week, hope to see the mistakes kept to a minimum.

3 seasons ago these seniors were freshman, and most of them were called upon to play a big part that season. This class has always been talented, that was apparent their freshman year when there were few upperclassmen to rely on throughout most of the year, but they battled through, stuck with it, and now you are seeing the end result.

Great game, Estill put a beating on the Bobcats who seemed to struggle on offense. The Engineers drove the ball pretty well on offense, but Breathitt made a few key stops, not to mention Estill stopped themselves with two fumbles, and some untimely penalties. Breathitt has a ways to go before they can contend with the powers in 3A this year, but Holcombe can get them to where they need to be. Congratulations to both teams, great game.

Estill is clearly not Johnson Central, however, their running attack can't be looked down upon by anyone. They have three solid backs, and as a team they are likely as strong as anyone in 3A. Defense will be the big key tomorrow night, for both teams.

I don't believe this game will be as one-sided as last year.

I look for Fleming to get a W this week as well, however, they cannot overlook the Pirates they are much improved from last season but Fleming should be able to handle them.

Bit of a sloppy game from Estill tonight, still had over 400 yards on the ground and 500 total yards.

The double wing offense has a way of doing that.

Bourbon had some athletes, and things could have been scary for Estill had they not taken every opportunity to lay the wood to #3 early in the first half. He took a pretty good beating, and started slowing down, without that beating this could have been a different game.

The Engineers dominated tonight with over 500 total yards, including 462 yards on the ground. The starters gave up the first score, and the junior varsity gave up the second late in the fourth. Estill's defense looks to be much improved from last year, on to Powell Co.

In my opinion both teams were better than last year, not sure what was expected. Estill had 6 fumbles last year, five of which resulted in turnovers and only lost by 6. Estill's 3 headed rushing attack couldn't be stopped, and the defense looks to be greatly improved from last season.

Dominating performance by the Engineers, Pineville scored with less than two minutes to go. Estill's starters sat the 4th, and the junior varsity had two fumbles in the last quarter, that led to the Pineville score. Estill had around 370 yards on the ground. Rushing Breakdown Benedict - 182 yds. Roberts - 74 yds. Covey - 72 yds. Very impressive game defensively as well, Senior DE Tyler Walling had around 8 tackles along with 3 sacks and a fumble recovery.

Senior Josh Napier started the game, Freeman came in in the 5th I believe, got off to a rocky start but got it together, and in the 7th he couldn't be touched.

Not exactly. #26 and #44 will be seniors, #10 will be a sophomore. On the offensive side The Engineers have lost their signal caller, and that's about it.

He got my vote... as a freshman.

The situation in Estill is fine.
