Neers 44 Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 Fleming had all their players back other than the ones with season ending injuries and it turns out they're not a bad football team, especially defensively. Long drives for Estill, in a game that was never in question. Congratulations to both teams.
Nonnac Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 Both teams played hard, Fleming gave up two big plays, a fumble which was returned for a TD early, and a long run on a defensive breakdown, those two plays really hurt Fleming. Estill did a good job of keeping the ball, had the ball the whole 1st and 3rd quarter to start out the halves.
arrows68 Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 Good to see Fleming Co. get on the scoreboard & get some players back . Nice win by Estill Co.
Butterfly Baby Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 Finally put some points on the board. Estill has a good team. Fleming had good scoring drive moving the ball well with the combination of Newsome to Gray. Landon Maxey scored his 1st Varsity TD.
friedtaters Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 Good win for the 'neers where they just took care of business and moved on. That Breathitt County blowout of Harlan Central sure makes Estill look a lot better as well!
mcpapa Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 Does this mean that Fleming County is out of the playoffs, or just can't host a playoff game? I heard this mentioned on WFLE this afternoon, but didn't catch the entire piece.
Neers 44 Posted September 28, 2008 Author Posted September 28, 2008 Estill added 268 rushing yards last night giving them a total of 1790 (I believe) rushing yards through the first five games.
