We feel we have a couple of those ourselves. Should be a dandy Friday night.

Somerset and Harlan Co. were dangerously close to playing each other the last week of the regular season, and the first round of the playoffs, that would have been interesting.

This line had lots of experience as freshman, and carried the team over the last three years, they've bought into the hard work that must be put into the weight room, and are unbelievably strong, I hope #55 for the Briar Jumpers does the same, and we can talk about him with such high compliments in the next couple of years.:ylsuper:

Breathitt Co. and Harlan Co. will have a rematch next Friday night in Jackson.

Well let me be the first to congratulate you, if your son sticks with it he will be a part of a pretty talented team in the next couple of years.:thumb:

Mama Bear I'm anxious for you, I can't wait to hear the results from the rematch, something just didn't seem right with the first score, and I believe you're right Harlan is peaking at the right time, and Breathitt peaked early on. I'm not saying you'll go into Jackson and get the W, but you have a really good shot this time around, Good Luck.

Garrard has some freaky athletes, and could be a team to beat in this district in the next year or two, however, the same can be said for Somerset.

I don't understand how Taylor could score 28-35 Estill just held an offense that has averaged 43 points a game, to 6! I agree with the Stallion, Macon cannot touch the ball on special teams, I don't believe Coach Jones will allow one man to beat them.

We're not looking ahead, but just a heads up to all the BGP'ers it's going to be one heck of a game, if your team is out, make the trip to either Jackson or Irvine, either one would be a dandy.

Let's hear it, can Taylor stop the ground game of the Engineers, and can Estill match up to the athletes Taylor will put on the field Friday night?

If only the top two from each district made the playoffs this year, Harlan Co. would have missed out (12th in 3A), that just doesn't seem right.

The Bobcat faithful better hope they got their bad game out of the way tonight, next week is a whole other animal. They cannot come into this game overlooking the Black Bears, they are not the same time, and if the Bobcats played as they did tonight they could be sitting at home during the 3rd round.

No big surprise, Powell was a decent team.

The line is very strong, undoubtedly one of the strongest in 3A.

I see the Bears next game with the Bobcats being A LOT closer, there's a great chance they will advance to the third round.

Harlan was the three and defeated the two but it was really no upset. Powell Co. nearly pulled one out, wouldn't have been a huge upset, but they were the underdog.

Very exciting game, I believe Taylor scored with around 35 seconds left to give them the lead, and Powell just couldn't punch one in at the end, congratuations to both teams.

Congratulations Bobcats

Estill rolls with over 300 yards rushing, great game both teams, have a safe trip home.

It's almost here, I would like to wish a safe trip to all the Somerset players, coaches, and fans, good luck to both teams tonight.

It actually had somewhat of an affect on them, not the way it affects most passing teams, but it affected the amount of punishment that was given out by the Estill backs, usually that doesn't have a big impact but it has in most games this year. You have a very tough team Mama Bear, that's something to be proud of.

The Black Bears have improved a lot since the beginning of the year, they could win this game by two or three touchdowns.

This game should be close, Powell can play with Taylor, but I see Taylor but a touchdown or two.
