The Lions played much closer than I expected.

The Bobcat faithful better hope they got their bad game out of the way tonight, next week is a whole other animal. They cannot come into this game overlooking the Black Bears, they are not the same time, and if the Bobcats played as they did tonight they could be sitting at home during the 3rd round.

The boys from Garrard played their hearts out. The first half of the game was as close as it could have been. I dont believe anyone expected the game to be that close. Good luck to Coach Scenters in his seasons to come at Garrard.

Garrard has some freaky athletes, and could be a team to beat in this district in the next year or two, however, the same can be said for Somerset.

If Garrard is going to contend for the district, it should be next year. The only thing is they will be starting a QB that will not have any high school varsity QB experience. They will have 14 seniors next year that will hopefully be able to help break in the QB. If that happens they should be able to win some games.
