Thoughts?

Woodford has a 6'8'' guy who can play, I believe Centre is looking at him. A guy that can shoot with range, and a couple of guards who are athletes to say the least. A very good team, who can definitely take McCreary Central down, although i believe that if MC plays its type of game, they will come out on top. Should be a nice one whether it be in Versailles or in Whitley City.

Garrard is 4-1. Winning against a very good Woodford County team scares a whole lot of people in the 12th!

I was at the game, and thought it was a very intense game. Now East has to turn around and play Marion Co. at Garrard County in the 4 Bank Classic at 2:00.

What radio station is broadcasting the game?

Stevenson sure did put on a show in the first half. He can definitely play! Very strong, and has a very competitive mindset.

I think if Garrard County can control the tempo, and get Woodford playing their type of game, Garrard will pull this one out.

Whats your views on this one?

Garrard vs. Lincoln. No matter what the records or the location of the game the fans will always pack the stands for this one. Needless to say they become hostile as well. Always an exciting matchup.

True, Garrard never got in a flow. Their defensive rebounding is what hurt them in the first and second quarters. Burgin is really long and can rebound well. Garrard just executed well on backdoor cuts and finishing around the rim. Not a very good game by Garrard at all. Foul trouble by Preston and Hensley didn't help in the first half either.

Burgin better than Southwestern? I highly doubt that. I think if Garrard plays the way they did against Southwestern Friday night, then anyone playing Garrard County can look to have a test.

Garrard(2-1) hosts Burgin(2-0). Garrard lost a tough one at Anderson but rebounded with wins over Berea and Southwestern Pulaski. Burgin has blown away its first two opponents. With the game being in Lancaster its going to be hard for to Burgin to get a win. Garrard's defense has been good the past two games and they are getting warmed up offensivly. Im taking the Lions 65-42.

In order to letter you have to "appear" in 24 varsity quarters. I no what your thinking and the answer is yes, one play in a quarter counts as an apperance.

Southwestern didn't execute at all, just kind of ran around.

Garrard controlled the ball the whole night, just an all around great effort by the Lions tonight!

Garrard can definitely make a run for a regional championship. After this game, it should open the eyes to EVERYONE in the region!
