The Engineers dominated tonight with over 500 total yards, including 462 yards on the ground. The starters gave up the first score, and the junior varsity gave up the second late in the fourth. Estill's defense looks to be much improved from last year, on to Powell Co.

Another nice win for Estill. Keep the train rolling.

Estill is really really good... they attempted 1 pass all night... and had no need to throw the ball... Benedict, Roberts, and Covey are all quality backs... and the freshman had a 61 yard TD run in the last minute of the game... they will atleast match last year's 9 wins...

Bourbon had some good moments, and some bad... I thought they got away from Barnes's running in the second half... he had several really nice scampers in the first quarter... the passing game was non-existent except for a few throws... they were playing without RB Dustin Purcell... but he wouldn't have helped the D-Line... absoultely exhausted at the end of the game... they had a rough time stopping the run but most teams have against Estill the last year...

The score is somewhat deceiving (22-7 throughout much of the 2nd half)... but without a shadow of a doubt Estill had the better team... Bourbon has a legit shot to go to 1-1 next week going into 3 straight home contest...

Bourbon has a chance at 4 wins this year. The first one is one the road next week.

It is hard to imagine that this school won a state championship 11 years ago...

This school has run off many good coaches and I am not talking just football...

Wonder what happened to the guy that said Bourbon had the athletes to play with Estill this year? Go 'Neers!!!!

Bourbon at West Jessamine for both teams first win of the season.

Bourbon had some athletes, and things could have been scary for Estill had they not taken every opportunity to lay the wood to #3 early in the first half. He took a pretty good beating, and started slowing down, without that beating this could have been a different game.

Estill always chews up huge numbers on the ground

Estill always chews up huge numbers on the ground

The double wing offense has a way of doing that.
