Does making it to the Sweet Sixteen make you a sucessful coach? Just wondering what everyones thoughts were about this.

Ill take Coach Biggs and the Tom-kats should be a very good game and a great atmosphere for High School Basketball best of luck to both teams just think Ashland will do what they need to to win this one.

Maybe these coaches have no class as well this is not what high school sports is about and i believe more and more coaches are sending are young men and women the wrong message about sports today . Very sad to see something like this.

Augusta over St.Pat in the 10th St. Pat winning the 3 previous match-ups i believe this was an upset know one gave Augusta any chance except for the Augusta panthers and there loyal fans...

I will take the upset in this one and go with Pelle and the Trains by 4 sure would be nice to watch Pelle play in the Regional Tourney at the Fieldhouse. Good Luck to both teams should be a dandy of a game!!!

I agree game was alot closer then score shows, The three pointer at the end of the 3rd quarter buzzer was a key shot in this one i guess the banks stay open late in Maysville. LOL A very good game from tip to buzzer, both teams played very hard I thought the Lady Bears exacuted very well just needed some breaks down the stretch and didnt get them Good Luck to the Lady Royals in the finals. To the Lady Bears congratulations on a good season keep your heads up and keep working hard i thought all the young Ladies from Bracken played very well last night says alot about a team when you can play 11 or 12 girls and still be in the game against Mason Co. IMO Bracken has the deepest bench in the District.

I think Augusta will give all they have but in order to keep this one close they need to get some breaks along the way and have everyone all on the same page the entire night , I'm sure Coach Kelsch will have them as prepared as they can get but Mason is definetly the favorite in this one I look for a good game in a great atmosphere for high school basketball you know the Fieldhouse will be covered in orange and black. Coach Kelsch is nothing but Class in my book you wont find a better person or coach that has more class than this man right here... Congratulations Coach Kelsch couldnt have happened to a better person. Good Luck the rest of the way...-:thumb:

I have respect for anyone who is an official. However I believe one of the first things you learn is not to Rabbit ear. As hard as it may be fans are going to yell regardless, if you call a great game or a poor game. You can't let fans dictate how you call a game and some officials get to personal with a teams fan and then make some bad calls to show the fans they are the ones in charge, this is wrong IMO. If you are going to officiate you have to understand that everyone is against you and you have to over look that as hard as it may be.

No rudeness intended just hate to see a mod shut the thread down for getting off subject this is a thread about the game, and i think people would like to hear how the game went instead of not being able to post anything in a closed thread.

Tough loss for Coach Stewert and the lady Panthers, not a season they anticipated. Keep your head up Coach Stewert and Good Luck to you and your team in the off season .

Probably because he is the BOYS manager and not the girls, Im sure if you are interested in being a manager as well, the girls team dosen't have one to my knowledge. I believe they could use a little half time excitement as well.

They need to have Classes or Divisions like they do across the river i think this will make for the best competition of all schools big or small then take all the winners of the state in each Division and let them play to see who is the true State Champion..JMO

Ill agree with you there and not everyone agreed with the way he coached but he didnt let that stop him he did what he thought was the best for the school and the team to make them believe in him. Its unfortunate that coaches get frowned upon for doing what they think is right for there team . No Better Movie to show how any team can beat another on any given night......
