Mason County In Hawaii
CountryBoy7 replied to mhighfield's topic in KY Boys Basketball (High School)
Unless you are thinking he is going to the Pro's right out of High School, which we all no he is NOT. Then a shoe deal for him is ridiculous, He is going to U.K. and if they are sponored by nike, then thats what he will where, or Adidas then thats what he will where, ECT. ECT. NO kid in college has a shoe deal, not sure what you are thinking about. If everything goes well at UK and he gets drafted and a shoe company wants him to endorse a shoe then good for him untill that happens there won't be any deals..... GOOD LUCK to the Royals, represent the State the way it Deserves, and don't forget the SPF 15. -

Nice win for the Saints, I agree they have a very good chance to do well in the Class A, just hope they are not peaking to soon it is only December alot of season still to go.Do i think they are probably not, but i look for Deming Brossart, Augusta all to get better. Should make for a good middle of the season. Again Congratulations to Coach Hinsen and his Young men from St.Pat. -

Agree All are pretty young and talented, comes down to who works harder in the off season and wants to be the Best. Nice to see some of the smaller schools having the potential of doing well. -

Scott didnt play Deming, Nicholas co played Scott in Carlise and Lost by 27, Im not comparing anyone really just saying that NC, Deming, St.Pat and Bc are all pretty close and anyone can beat anybody on any night IMO. -

Remember though, That they only beat Deming by 5 a game i thought they would win bigger. And Scot beat them by 27 I do think they have some talent but alot like Bracken they need to win the middle of the pack games or at least keep them close with a chance to win. -
Bracken led by 8 going into the fourth quarter, but let the lead slip away. E Carmack led all scores with 27, 11-13 from the line. K Carmak added 14. Bracken was led by Figgins with 14 and C Ahrens with 14, and 8 rebounds. Haight added 8 points and 11 rebounds. Both teams played sloppy all night but Bracken was able to hold on for the win. Smith for Deming let a three go at the Buzzer that drew back Iron. Glad the Lady Bears were able to escape with a win. The Lady Bears head to Paris on Tue. for another 10th region matchup. Good Luck Lady Bears.

This game was played in Carlise but WOW. I would have thought this game would end up like this. Does anyone have any stats or comments on how the game went?

Nice win for RK and his gentleman from A-TOWN. Congratulations Keep it up.

It was not a factor at all but if you ask anyone at the game from St. Pat or Bracken they will tell you it was very poorly officiated. I agree scoring only 2 points in a quarter dosen't help the cause, But at one point in the second half the fouls were Bracken 10 St.Pat 2 and it wasn't just fouls. The calls for every aspect of the game were bad.

Yes he did not sure how many he had. Don't think he is 100% yet but he always plays hard. He has a bright future for the Polar Bears.
-
Nice win for the Royals, hang in there, Warmer weather is on the way ALOHA.
-
One of the POOREST oficiated games i have seen, This didn't have a bearing in the outcome but very poor all night long. A very good game for the Saints, They run the floor very well Anderson, And Owens are two very nice players. Polar Bears just could't get anything to fall from the outside tonight. I was kind of surprised Anderson and Owens both played till the 4 min. mark of the fourth quarter up 25. since they have a big game tomorow against Harrison County. Congratulations to the Saints going to 5-1. Hang in there Polar Bears it will all come together for you. Nice job to Coach Fite for keeping his cool tonight with the officials. I know he was frustrated. Good Luck polar Bears the rest of the way.

Royal s put it on cruise control and win in a Boring game. Most of the starters probably won't see much time in the second half. Darius may have some good dunks though may be worth the price of admission. -

Yes I agree most people want playing time but hey look at it this way. WOW i sat the bench for 4 straight years and worked my but off in practice everyday, but you know what I still got a FREE education and now im ready for the real world. not to say i made friends that will last a lifetime and i had fun doing it College is suppose to be fun. Or i am a four year starer at the School of my choice i worked my but off at practice everyday and i put up alot of numbers in some big games, But you know what i still got a FREE education and now im ready for the real world. Not to say i still had fun and made friends that will last a lifetime. So you see NO matter what senerio you choose you still get a FREE education, to prepare you for life isnt that what College is for or not??????

Mason County's Lacey Cline Scores 2000th Point

I think she probably would have done more then Habermehl, Nothing against her just no comparison in the two. She would have been mentioned with the likes of Connie Appleman,Rachel Hamilton,And may even would have been better then both. JMO anyways just thought it would be nice to hear what some people thought. Habermehl did have one of the best individual performences against St. Pat that i have seen in a while, a few years back in District tourney . She was a very nice player and a very nice person as well. -

Augusta vs. Burgin predictions

Was that a Hargett ??? Not real familiar with anyone wearing #13 from Augusta in the mid 90's that could fill it up on a nightly basis, unless maybe you are refering to there present coach Robin Kelsch. Other then his father he was probably the best one to come out of that family. -
