Mason County's Lacey Cline scored her 2000th point of her great career Thursday night against Fleming County. She trails on DeSarae Chambers on the all time Lady Royal scoring list who currently has approximately 2400 PTS. Congradulations Lacey!!!!!!!!!!!:dancingpa:dancingpa:dancingpa

"scratching my head" Hey Sumo, do you think you could tally up how many of her 2000 points she has scored against my team? Then send me that many Christmas Cards for all th early gifts we gave her. :p

You know she could have been an Augusta Panther, she did go to School in Augusta when she was younger HMMMMMMMM wonder how that would have changed things.

Probably would've just been like a diamond in the rough, kinda like how Habermehl was.

I think she probably would have done more then Habermehl, Nothing against her just no comparison in the two. She would have been mentioned with the likes of Connie Appleman,Rachel Hamilton,And may even would have been better then both. JMO anyways just thought it would be nice to hear what some people thought. Habermehl did have one of the best individual performences against St. Pat that i have seen in a while, a few years back in District tourney . She was a very nice player and a very nice person as well.

Congrats to Lacey. I think sportsfan was just merley giving an example of the point he was trying to make.

Yes. I was just trying to say that one player can't turn around a team like Augusta, no offense, but you need more than one player. She would have had a great individual career, maybe even more points because the offense would have been mainly her, but the team wouldn't have been as successful.

BUT...

She didn't go to Augusta, she chose Mason, so here we are.. haha.

Congrats Lacey, Keep it up.

As far as what school she went too. There is more to it then just Basketball and I will leave it at that.

Lacey is a very intelligent student who could get into to any number of schools just off her Academics.

Being one heck of a ball player won’t hurt her chances either.

Anyone know where she's thinking about going?

She has many to options to concider. Cumberland, Morehead, and quite a few more. I am not sure if she is that bigg of a hurry to decide.

If a school such as Morehead offers, she better jump on it and run with it. I think she could play at this level, or she could play at the NAIA level such as a Georgetown, Cumberland, Campbellsville or a school like Transy. I have only had the chance to watch her the past couple of years. Lacey has great instincts on the floor, has great vision, and passing abilities. Hope she can make the right choice.
