Mason County's Lacey Cline Scores 2000th Point

Comgratulations Lacey!!!:dancingpa:dancingpa

I think she probably would have done more then Habermehl, Nothing against her just no comparison in the two. She would have been mentioned with the likes of Connie Appleman,Rachel Hamilton,And may even would have been better then both. JMO anyways just thought it would be nice to hear what some people thought. Habermehl did have one of the best individual performences against St. Pat that i have seen in a while, a few years back in District tourney . She was a very nice player and a very nice person as well.

Would not have been as good as Connie Appleman!!!

Great individual accomplishment, pretty impressive when you have two players on the floor for Mason County with more than 2000 points in their career and another player in Litzinger knocking on the door. On the flip side, ten years down the road, these 3 great players won't be remembered for how many points they scored in their career as much as if they get to the state tournament. That is a far better accomplishment, something that each girl has been denied of the past 3 years. With that thought in mind, there seems to me like a sense of urgency in those three players this season to get it done. They better not take a day off, stay locked in, and hopefully they can ride off in the sunset in March with a team prize to hold onto, rather than just a individual accomplishment.

Agreed! Knowing Lacey, she would trade in all of those individual things to go to Diddle. Nonetheless, a great accomplishment and well-deserved stoppage of the game for #32.

They oughta keep track of her floor burns too, that's gotta be closer to 3,000 for her career!

:ylsuper:Congrats Lacey!

Yea for Lacey!dancingpa

She can shoot with the best of them- great range!

Congrats to her and her parents too.....wonderful people!!

She has many to options to concider. Cumberland, Morehead, and quite a few more. I am not sure if she is that bigg of a hurry to decide.

There.
