Bracken led by 8 going into the fourth quarter, but let the lead slip away. E Carmack led all scores with 27, 11-13 from the line. K Carmak added 14.

Both teams played sloppy all night but Bracken was able to hold on for the win. Smith for Deming let a three go at the Buzzer that drew back Iron. Glad the Lady Bears were able to escape with a win. The Lady Bears head to Paris on Tue. for another 10th region matchup. Good Luck Lady Bears.

Unfortunately looks like the Lady Bears will have to fight for any win this season,even against rival teams like Deming,Pendleton and Augusta. Sounds like this one could have easily been another L. Will Paris be without some players for fighting when Bracken plays them next?

Good game by both teams. It seemed as the Lady Devils had many chances to pull it off but couldn't hit free throws and they gave up alot of offensive boards. Congrats to the Lady Bears!

I think the depth down the bench played a huge role in the win today. Would really like to see more minutes for the 6 thru 11 players. I don't have any problem with the starting 5, I just beleive for BC to have success they have to utilize every weapon. And their bench is as deep as any.

I'm in total agreement with you here. Bracken's bench is as deep or deeper than any in the region, but hasn't been utilized much. No sense in talking about having a deep bench if they are never looked upon to contribute! Glad to see those gals come in and hustle after it.

 

Must say--that Deming bunch is about the scrappiest, most aggressive squad I've seen from Robertson County in a while. Game was sloppy, but both teams were definitely gettin' after the ball.

I'll say Coach Doyle has got them headed in the right directon they just need a win to give them some confidence.

When i seen them play down here at Brossart, I believe the bench would beat the starting 5.
