Sounds like it was pretty physcial last night at the igloo. IMO if the refs let the game get out of control then it is hard for them to get control back they need to set the stage early if there are some over agressive players being dirty.From my stand point i didnt ssee anything dirty just alot of hard playing girls on both sides with the exception of maybe a few illegal screens that the officials seem to think was ok. JMO

I agree 120% there should be no 3 point line in the younger age. To many kids try and shoot the three and they have to throw the shot up instead of shooting and this teaches poor shooting forms that are very hard to correct once kids have done this for so long I also think there should not be a shot clock there are alot of kids out there who would worry to much about the clock and i think you would see alot more free lace type plays instead of a set offense JMO i think teaching the kids to be patient and get a good look is important still at the High School level besides you cant tell me that once in awhile seeing a team that has no chance of winning slow the game down against a team so they can stay in the game and give themselves a chance for an upset is not a fun thing to watch afterall these are kids and they deserver to have fun when they are in High School gives them something to talk about when there old and grey LOL

I agree i have seen these girls play as 7th and 8th graders and yes they are a very good bunch of girls. Seems to me that some of them have alot of fight in them, and they showed it on the floor even at a young age . I hope to see these girls play when they are Juniors and Seniors i think they have a bright future ahead of them . They sure have the potiential to be a very good team .

Congrats Lady Camels a nice win for them i think the Lady camels will make some noise in the tourny this year. They could pull off an upset or to if there oppenets take them lightly Good Luck Lady Camels.

Montgomery County wins by 5 saving the Statement game for the Regional Tourny

Tough loss for the Lady Bears really thought they would win this one tonight .I am looking forward to seeing them back in action when they face PC at home NExt Week .

In all seriousness here from the Creek Bottom in Kentucky, the girls @ BC appear to have a very devoted coaching staff. I would say that if I had to put money on it, the staff cares more than you obviously know. I have seen them scouting other games and have witnessed games coached in the past You can rest assure that these Lady Bears will not give up playing hard and will continue to work hard in the gym to improve their game.

Well, Well, Well another Bear Fan yet steps in to judge before knowing all the facts. Apparently you were there, did you see when the big players came in and shot about 0/7, 1/5, 2/6? It would make it hard for a coach to keep them in when they keep missing the easy buckets. Rogers thank god stepped in and made her shots underneath the bucket. Mr. Bear Facts, I would love to hear what you would have done different and who you would play when the shots don't go in? Hey and by the way do you know why Tara was out for so long? And as far as having guards on the floor, what is wrong with that? From what I have seen, this group is very quick and can get up and down the floor.

Scott Co. 87 Mason Co. 68 Should be a good game but Scott has to many weapons for Mason. Miller will have 20-25 pts can't wait to make the trip to georgetown. hope its closer then that but i doubt it .

Ithink Dayton should pull it out they have a couple of good shooters and Is Bracken playing well this year ?

I think this one will be a nail biter but ill give the edge to Deming since it is at there place should make for a good season opener for both teams Good Luck to both Teams

Very sad to hear about this she is one of the nicest girls and I hate to see this happen to anyone she will be in our thoughts and prayers . How will Mason handle this, who will step up off the bench someone will need to . Like to see Mason have a good year they have alot of talent but need someone to really step up now off the bench .

Congrats to Coach Fite and his Coaching Staff nice to start out with a win hope he has a good season at BCHS. What happened to Jesse Hall ? They cant afford to have him out long IMO.

I dont think Brackens gym is all that small there new school is pretty nice and there gym is fairly nice as well the old gym was alot better but augusta, and deming have great gyms for NOISE the whole game no matter who is playing

If im not mistaken i think Molly Linville also is the leading scorer at Bracken County Boys or Girls and she as well passed the 1000 pt mark in college at Shawnee State University where she was named to the NAIA div 1 all-American team is SHe coaching At Bracken County now ?????????

I say congrats to Montgomery for a first class facility , However i like the old school feel of Mason kind of like a page out of Hoosiers alot of history there and I think it should have not been changed dosent appear to have as much seating or standing room only room as Mason but Congrats on a first class facility

Connie Appleman-Augusta , Molly Linville-Bracken How Bout the Smoot girl from Nicholis county I think she wen in the 10th region Hall of Fame last year???

I think Bracken found a good coach in Jay he,s a great person who will give 100% all the time.who knows maybe an old tollesboro friend will be back to help if he needs another asst. :sssh:
