I really thought that Bracken Co. played fairly decent on the offensive end. Alex Rogers gave the Lady Bears a big lift tonight finishing her shots underneath and hitting her FTs. The Lady Bears didnt have an answer for Kelsch tonight nor could they stop dribble penetration.

Better shore up that floor under the visitor's bench for all the foot stomping Coach Orem will do.

Hearing from the Pendleton side, alot of injuries coming out of the game last night. One comment was "WWE should have broadcast it as a PPV."

Sounds like it was pretty physcial last night at the igloo. IMO if the refs let the game get out of control then it is hard for them to get control back they need to set the stage early if there are some over agressive players being dirty.From my stand point i didnt ssee anything dirty just alot of hard playing girls on both sides with the exception of maybe a few illegal screens that the officials seem to think was ok. JMO

Is girls basketball supposed to be soft? I didn't see the game last night, but have watched both teams play in the past, physical play is a part of the game. I seriously doubt it was done w/intnet, it is just a part of the game.

The PC elbow was from her own player. . Thats what made the tooth chip.. Tooth mark should be in her elbow...

Positively a very physical game,played the same on both ends of the court and both sides of the ball. I thought the refs might have let it get a little too physical but i'm the same guy that wouldn't want the whistled blowed on a hand check. Hard to have it both ways.Two of the hardest hits were both on pretty clean blocks. Congrats to the Lady Cats as they prevailed. A good,hard, clean game.

Yep I believe a few LadyBears are also nursing some bumps and bruises.In the past the BC team has been able to be intimidated by bigger tougher teams but I believe that is now a thing of the past.The BC team really does have enough bench (altho all young) to match up in any type of game and I think we'll see them very successful in the future.Hats off to Miss Rogers on a very well played game and a wonderful night.Sure hope all the PC gals recover quickly and best of luck to them in the remainder of the season!:ylsuper:

Who is in charge of sending scores in to newspapers and TV stations for Bracken County? There was no mention of this game in the Ledger, Lexington-Herald,etc. And it seems to happen a lot for the Bracken girls and boys,especially when they play at home. Does anyone know why this is,has been like this for a couple of years now.

Since I haven't seen a box score anywhere,did Kaunui play and did the frosh and JV get a lot of varsity minutes?
