How long is Tara Kalanewe(may spelt it wrong ,sorry if so) going to be out, No way Bracken can compete in any Tourney without her..

From what I have gathered, she was suspended for Conduct Detrimental to the team. It is a coaches decision I presume, maybe they have a set # of games she has to sit out. She is the best athlete for sure!!!

No doubt about that; when I watched them play against Mason County early in the season she was by far the best the Polar Bears had - at least on that night.

Tara Kauinui will not be playing the next game against Pendleton Co. on Monday night. She will return after that game. There is no question about her being the best athlete on the team, but this year she hasnt been the best player.. Tara has only scored double figures a few times and is shooting under 30% from the field... She is the best athlete by far, but her decision making on and off the court has to improve..

Hopefully it will for the Lady Bears sake!

Amen to that Teach, Kauinui's improving her decision making would definitely help the Lady Bears and they could use some help. It has been a rough season so far!

She has been the best player and will continue to be the best, She is a power force inside. Just wish she was a little taller..

No doubt that Tara is a phisically gifted athelete. An awesome rebounder with a great nose for the ball. But poor decision making, on the court as well as off , combined with an inability to finish inside as evidenced by the low shooting percentage would take her out of the running for Best at Bracken. My pick would be guard Dana Figgins. She may be small but I believe she would go bear hunting with a switch. You get nothing less than 110% from her night after night, day after day. A leader on the floor as well as off. If you have a daughter this young lady is a great role model for yours to watch. IMO she is the one ballplayer I would not want to take the floor without. My best player as well as my MVP.

I just talked to a higher power and Tara Kauinui is playing tonight against the Pendleton Co. Wildcats... I was going on hearsay, but now I have talked to the higher power and she will be in uniform!

Bracken is pulling out all the stops and going for the sweep of the wildcats.Watch out they may try to slip their point guard from the boys into the line up tonight.

Great news for the Lady Bears. It will take all the weapons to hold Kelsch below her average. Talked to Natalie this weekend. She said they had lost to Campbell the nite before so you know they are ready to get back on the winning track. Hold Kelsch below average and get back in the win column. Good luck Lady Bears.

Hard to compete with anyone when your big girls are on the bench and playing 4 guards, Tara , The Rogers girl, Arens girl all where on the bench and the smallest players where on the floor, I cant understand that, The Jv coach I believe would of done things different.,...Very hard to figure that rotation out, Im lost for words...Tara maybe played 7 minutes all night..Patrick , Please rescue this team Please

Well, Well, Well another Bear Fan yet steps in to judge before knowing all the facts. Apparently you were there, did you see when the big players came in and shot about 0/7, 1/5, 2/6? It would make it hard for a coach to keep them in when they keep missing the easy buckets. Rogers thank god stepped in and made her shots underneath the bucket. Mr. Bear Facts, I would love to hear what you would have done different and who you would play when the shots don't go in? Hey and by the way do you know why Tara was out for so long? And as far as having guards on the floor, what is wrong with that? From what I have seen, this group is very quick and can get up and down the floor.
