The new coach has been named. I now have that name, but according to my source, who is very close with the situation, he has not told his old school yet. Sorry , but I guess we'll have to wait till Monday.

yes, i too was shocked at the name! I like the guy though, and i think he'll be willing to stay a while I hope.

Not so much out of left field for me, but a very solid choice I believe. The administration was looking for a young, vibrant, energized coach and they got it in my opinon. A guy who has some ties to the county and one I feel will be willing to stay and build something. A great guy and a great choice! The BCHS administration had a goal and they achieved it! Congrats to all parties!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Where does he come from?

He played at Mason County during the 90s and has been girls coach at Lewis County.

Great Hire. Bracken Co. could not have gotten a better coach.
