I know Jay personally and I can tell you that you will not get a harder working and dedicated coach. He is a good young motivating coach that knows and understands the game of basketball... Best of Luck to Coach Fite and the Polar Bears.

Well according to the private school supporters, BC should be winning state titles soon. Because that is all it takes to win.

I echo the comments of everyone else. Jay is very enthusiastic, greatly motivated coach. I believe Bracken Co. made the right hire.

This is a good hire. Jay is a really great guy and I think he will do some good things in Brooksville. He could flat out play the game, so if he's half as good a coach as he was a player then watch out.

I think Bracken found a good coach in Jay he,s a great person who will give 100% all the time.who knows maybe an old tollesboro friend will be back to help if he needs another asst. :sssh:

I'm pretty sure Coach Fite played at Tollesboro High School and then transferred to Mason County. He transferred because the Lewis County schools consolidated to form the main Lewis County High School in either 1993 or 1994.

He did play at Tollesboro before transferring to Mason Co., but i'm not sure on the years.

I have heard that Bracken County might make some changes to their fight song by changing FIGHT to FITE, haha!!!!!!!!!
