The Jumpers seemed to have their bursts where they could get up by 6 or more and then let PC come charging back. Finally, the Jumpers were able to put the game away in OT behind the 3 pointers of Wallen.

Congrats to the 3 players from Somerset who recieved All State Honors. John Cole, Ross Deaton and John Wright Polk.

Somerset will have to play better D if they want to win! Even though they are a Jr. & Sr. led team, some of these are still lacking experience at the Varsity level. Hopefully with more experience will come better play from the Jumpers.

This thread is about JRs and SRs but anyhow I watched this kid play against Southwestern and i think he had a triple double! He could score and did score from anywhere on the court. He grabbed almost every rebound and blocked a signifigant amount of shots as well, very nice player!

I thought that game was played on week 2?

You guys play well and to have a comeback against Danville like that is commendable at any time. A well deserved title.

Wow another great pair of wins tonight from N. KY Catholics. Of course Newport Cath is a great team and every class A school has a 6' 7" noseguard with twin stud tackles. Man it's a great "neighborhood" you have for football talent. Congrats on your win, you should be PROUD. Great comeback and Danville congrats to you as well on a great year.

Another factor that will be playing in is that the Jumpers were also had a lot of seniors last year and a lot of these kids who are now Juniors and Seniors didnt see that much time, however I will still take the Jumpers by 8.

He has received letters from colleges like UK, UL, Stanford, UConn, Vandy.

If you think John Cole is the whole reason we were able to put up points and win this year, then my friend you are badly mistaken, yes i will agree he made pretty much all of the big plays on Friday night, but he isn't the main reason in why this was a good Briar Jumper football team.

If you think about it, we hold onto the punt...that takes 7 away, we make tackles....takes 7 away, we cover on kickoff....that takes 7 away! Not saying NCC wouldnt have scored anyways but if we take those 3 mistakes away then thats 21 less points NCC has!

Can BG stop the passing attack of Cov Cath will be the deciding factor in this game, IMO.

Just an update on Cam Jones, he has a severe ankle sprain, some torn ligaments in his ankle and a pulled muscle in his ankle...Hated to see one of my buddies go out like that.

This is the toughest game to pick for a guy from Somerset but I have to take Danville cause they didnt put us out of the playoffs. Danville--35 NCC--21
