Good game Breds. Jumpers tried to make several runs late but were just deflated the entire game by turnovers. Congratulations to Somerset Junior John Cole for breaking the state single season record for receiving yards tonight. Great season Jumpers! Hold your heads up high, you have made everyone in this town proud.:thumb:

Great Season Jumpers, you proved that you could play with the Breds. Total Offense was only 4 yards diff. between the two teams according to the radio. They just capitalized when they needed to and kept the game just out of reach. Here's hoping the Bred's repeat, good luck next week you guys are a class bunch.

Jumpers had to play error free and didn't but they proved they belong. Both teams lost big players, NCC lost Vicars and #15 sorry don't know his name. Somerset lost their leading tackler and best defensive player Cam Jones.

NCC was the better team and deserved the win.

I hope that both of the young men from NCC are able to play next week. NCC should be proud of their team and the class in which their boys conduct themselves!!!!

Fun game to watch. Congrats to NewCath on the win. They're a very well coached team. Hopefully Vicars will be able to play next week. He was well on his way to a big night when he went down. Somerset really felt the loss of John Wright Polk tonight--the kickoff return for a touchdown was huge as was the fact that the Jumpers had to squib kick after that instead of being able to kick the ball into the end zone. The game was really decided on 3 big plays for the Breds: The aforementioned kickoff return, the muffed punt by Somerset that led to led to the 3rd touchdown, and the long pass just before half to make it 28-10. Congrats to John Cole on breaking state single season records for receiving yards and touchdown catches. Good luck to NCC next week in Louisville!
