Do you think the Lit ratings are determined by turning on the computer "on" switch??? All of the data is manually input. Im sure there is a way in which one can continually input data to keep PRP in the top ~20.... Even with their record. So yes, in the spirit of selling newspapers, I feel it is highly likely that the data can be minipulated such to lower or raise a team with the shield of "computer ranking" etc... Does it really matter, NO. Its just a comment. Any by the way, the LIT rankings are fairly close to reality except of a few instances. Having said that, why doesn't the CJ describe on paper what the formula is for the LIT ranking...... In reality, it cant be that complicated. It was developed many years ago (~50...). Its just another pole, which has lost a lot of credibility of late. No big deal. I imagine after this week, JD and JF will be in the full swing of the Rock push..... Its all fine with me, just dont try to say that it doesn't exist.

JD is a strong supporter of Trinity, this is no secret. His under study, JF, is picking up where JD left off. This will be a great point of motivation for the Tigers. Haven beaten everyone, convincingly, and ranked number 2. Come on CJ, you lost all of what credability you had left.....

Should serve as an additional piece of motivation for the Tigers.....

The six candidates for best team in the State will be decided on December 8. After that, we can discuss who the best overall team is.......

Shelby Co. with its impressive win over Madison Central and an air assualt which is excellent, is a Sleeper who all need to be concerned about..... Hats off to the Rockets for a great season and current success in the playoffs. I suspect that Shelby Co. will give Boone more than they can handle.....

One thing for sure, X wont be naming any score playing on their own home field......

Are you suggesting that St. X play Mr. Finch while he has not recovered from injury?? Some programs are win at all cost (forsaking a young mans health the remainder of his carrer). At X, if you have an injury you get rehabilitated, other schools may choose to motivate their injured players by playing them in effort to live up to a standard...

Nothing less than a well prepared team, totally focused and ready to play inspired football, is needed for the Tigers to be successful at Marshall Co. The bus ride will not be 30 minutes... The environment will be hostile. Tigers have to be ready to play from the get go. Tigers coming off an outstanding effort / game against Manual. This effort / execution coupled with increased toughness in mental preparation for game time situations needed as the Tigers visit Marshall Co. Safe travel for the Tigers and the ontourage of fans. GO TIGERS ....

Wow, everyone predicting a Rock blowout. If Henry Clay is thinking about forfieting the game due to the expected result of the game and to save gas money, lets start a fun so we can all pitch in for the gas. At least the Henry Clay kids will get to play one more game. Trinity may want to have a few more EMS units on had to handle all of the injuries the HC will sustain. Congrats Manual on a great year. Manuals coaching staff is to be complemented. Manual came into the game prepared and played as if they belonged in the 2nd round and ranked in the top 5. The St. X defense played well. As did the X O. Manual has nothing to be ashamed of and had an excellent year. The Manual coach noted that they are tring to get on the level of X and T. They are not there yet, although, they are going to work harder to get there....... I think that has been the resounding message from many posters as to why X and T enjoy the success they have. For Manual, 10 - 2 is an excellent year. If one wants to be critical, discuss Ballards performance against the Rocks....

Wow 63 - 14.... Sounds pretty strong to me.....

One would think that last weeks game was a good tune up for many cylinders. Being refreshed and focused on the Manual game plan should prove to be a key element in this game. I foresee Manual's game last week to, in the end, have taken a little spunk out of the Crimsons..... We all know what back to back rivaly games does to ones ability to keep playing on a sky high level. At some point, one usually has a let down. I really dont see Manual as having the experience of winning big games in succession and into the playoffs. This could play into the hands of the Tigers. The tough regular season schedule should prepare the Tigers as well.... Looking forward to a very fun, competitive game tonight. I hope the Tigers come ready to play some football......

Marshall co. and Meade Co. are both very good teams and Programs. I think the experience of the program speaks volumes this time of year. Both of these teams have been to this level and have very good fan support on their own home fields. This makes it a very tough assignment for anyone to play at their place. Either of these two teams getting to the semi finals would not be a total surprise. Both have demonstrated tough playoff football capabilities over the years. They are certianly worthy opponents in the next couple of rounds. I do not see them as true competitors for the 6A championship however. Good Luck to both in the playoffs....

Henry Clay is the Top Dog outside of Louisville IMHO.

Ox - I have seen us have very good teams and "give it away" a number of times..... Just dont want this year to be another gift....... We have been very gracious over the years. I just would like for this set of Tigers to take it all in convincing fashion. I think we all know we have the ability..... We just need to execute...and play inspired football. Sometimes it really makes me wonder, after working out and lifting weights for 4 years, the enthusiasm sometimes subsides right at the time when it should be the highest.... Go Tigers

I have no blood in this issue being discussed except I do travel the roads from A to B.... It is a long haul. Only thing I can add is this is how "bad blood" between schools is initiated.... Good Luck to both in the 2007 playoffs... :walk:

Should never have been scheluded on a Home and Home basis to begin with...... a neutral site, say Louisville fits fairness yet is really asking alot of both teams respective fans..... Poor planning from the get go.....

I dont have an issue with the stats. They speak for themselves. What is your interpretation? ?

With Finch out, we will need this type of effort to keep winning to get the Final and Win the Final.... IMHO Anything less and it is not probable and spells 2006 Male playoff game.......
