If you are going to have a chance to beat Male this year would be it, they don't seem to be as dominant as they've been in the past.

Meade won impressively over a very good Owensboro team, who, imo, could compete toe to toe with Male, this year. That says alot about the improvement they've made thruout the year and how good they really are. I like them to pull the upset this week...

I dont think if Meade beats Male it wont be a upset since Meade is a pretty darn good team, if Meade controls the clock they will beat Male.

One common opponent in Fern Creek. Meade lost to them and Male blew them out but that was early in the season and it appears as if the Wave are on quite a winning streak now.

I was not talking about anyone. In fact, I was talking about a good Male team. And a Greenwave team that plays hard as one unit. We do not have that star athelete that stands out, but what we do have is eleven kids that will come right at you on offense, and eleven kids that will STICK you on defense. We will come to play Friday. Will it be enough is yet to be seen. But I think we can pull it off. If I didn't, my heart and head would be in the wrong place.

But since you brought it up, Meade as a team, has had a pretty good second half of the season too.:thumb:

Male needs to be ready to play a full 48 min of football this friday, I know Meade will be.

Quietly, J.L. Canady has put together one of the finest seasons by a QB in the area. He may not be like Alex Matthews with 50 throws and 500 yards per game, but he makes his passes count. I look for him to be a difference-maker Friday.

Don't worry they won't be any better next season and they had an awful freshman team. Looks like Male and Manual will be changing spots in the big three over the next few seasons.

 

As far as this game, I think Meade County by 3-7 points. Every time I have seen Male this year, the offense is so predictable. Run by Green, pass to Green, run by Green.

Male will have to play much better football than they did against Fern Creek this past week. Thirteen penalties and three turnovers in one half won't cut it against Meade County. If they're sharp and minimize mistakes, I'm confident they'll win.

 

I'll say Male by a score of 28-21.
