My vote goes to Hesch of Newport he has been one of the top QB's in NKY the past 2 years. It will be interesting to see what types of numbers he puts up his Senior year with new receivers.

At Newport all games are still on as scheduled and we begin testing tomorrow through friday

I actually did see her play Notre Dame in that Northern Exposure Tournament it wasn't exactly her best game but I did see her play again at the Kentucky Preps Plus tournament at Louisvile Trinity against Male. She had around 40 points and played an amazing game.

If this is the Brooke Faulkner I am thinking about from Harrison County I'd have to say that she is way better than Lantry at all aspects of the game. She has one of the purest jumpshots I've seen in years. I've watched her play several times this year and seen her score 38 points at a Christmas tourney in Louisville. Faulkner is in a whole other league than Lantry.

BTW only one slow pitch team totally dropped their slow pitch program this year (NCC). The other 19 teams are finishing up their required 10 fast pitch games and are making the transition into slow pitch.

Why take a sport away that many of these girls have fallen in love with at at very young age? Slow pitch softball is a more exciting game to play because it is primarily offense.

In the last month of the season Tamara Sneed stepped up and proved that she is the best player in the 9th region and she should have atleast been considered to be nominated to the all state team.

Notre Dame has several transfers as well. The Delph girl from Conner, Jones and Coleman from Brossart, Jackson from Villa, and Smith from Beechwood.

Notre Dame didnt come to play tonight they weren't focused at all they acted as if they already had the game won since they were the favorite. On to more important matters congrats to Nell Fookes and the Lady Rebels and good luck down state.

Congrats to Coach Slone and her Ladycats on such a fantastic season. Winning the 36th district was a feat nobody in the 9th would have predicted. Good luck to Price she has a bright future ahead of her. Hopefully the Darnell girl will have a speedy recovery it looked like her knee injury was very serious at the game last night. Sneed will once again prove next year she is the best player the ninth has to offer.

Final

Tamara is an outstanding player she strives to make everyone around her a better ball player and I commend her for that. Not only can Sneed put up great offensive stats she is no slacker on the defensive end when she puts forth her best effort. With that being said Sneed is by far the best player in the 9th region. Her only downfall would be her jumpshot and she will continue developing into a better shooter over the summer.
