Ammonds from Franklin Co should be the best IMO.

I don't know what Trinity returns but that system is very QB friendly, so I think he'll post some nice statistics.

Sophomore Ricky Bowling (South Laurel) may not be the best, but he will put up some big numbers again this season as long as his new offensive linemen step up, and their deep receiving corp shows the ability to cover for the loss of Zack Marcum and Cody Philpot.

More of the same from the Rocks. Nick Petrino will be a senior.

Clint Cashen of Corbin and the kid from Christian County have the hype and tools to be awesome next year. Cashen should have a lot of options with so many kids supposedly out for the team this year. Word has it that there are going to be around 20-25 more players on the team up from last years total.

Keith Tandy (Christian Co.) 6'0 175 great athlete, accurate passer, good arm strength, & quick release. He will have 2 new WR's to throw the ball to and a new RB. Some key losses in their offense especially with the graduation loss of WR Shawn Brown who helped Tandy by making some big plays down the field. He plays behind a suspect Offensive Line but if he can stay healthy they could be in every game. They lost 18 seniors and in 2006 won't have the depth they had in 2005. Tandy may have to play defense this year unlike last year.

In SEKY, the 3 QB's to watch will be:

Clint Cashen (Corbin)

Ricky Bowling (South Laurel)

Thomas Frazier (Williamsburg)

Ross Deaton (Somerset)

Clay County's young QB (I am sorry, but I can't recall his name temporarily, but he was very solid last year as a frosh I believe)

Clay Co's QB is a nice QB. North Oldham's Dylan Grandon is another one that will fly under the radar but he will be a 3 year starter next year as a JR.

I don't know if he'll be the best, but look for big things from Williamsburg's Thomas Frazier. About 6'1", 225 lbs. with a cannon. Throws the long ball exceptionally weel and in the spring looked to be working hard on touch passes.

What can Petrino do to top his performance, especially in the title game, in his senior season? He has to be one of the top returners at the QB spot in KY.

Pugh from Paintsville will probably be the best in Eastern KY.

There is another double threat dandy of a player! I love QB's who can run and are a dual threat. Pugh is definitely in that category!!! :thumb:
