BigStud Posted April 7, 2006 Posted April 7, 2006 Can't find a link on the website listing the whole team. But I read it today in the paper. The biggest mistake was leaving off Duran Jefferson. Say what you want but there was not 12 better players in NKY than him. No way Danny Noll should make any team over Duran Jefferson.
NKYBOY1487 Posted April 7, 2006 Posted April 7, 2006 Danny Noll was the possibly the best big man in the 9th over the last 2 months of the season.
BigStud Posted April 7, 2006 Author Posted April 7, 2006 Danny Noll was the possibly the best big man in the 9th over the last 2 months of the season. In a very down year in big men for the region. He had good regional tourney, but your not going to convince me he is the better player between him and duran.

He didnt lead his team past the first round of region. Holmes basically fell off the charts. Yes he is very talented, but he didnt perform this year.
cch5432 Posted April 7, 2006 Posted April 7, 2006 Noll was 9th Region Tourney MVP, played his best down the stretch, and scored 30 points on a Highlands team that was one of the best defensive teams in the state IMO. How did he not deserve to get in? This is an elite list, maybe Duran could replace White from Campbell, but good players are going to be left off regardless.

Look, I've been saying for a couple of years now that this has no chance because of so many people hyping him to a point he will never reach. Let the kid be a darn good high school PG and lets enjoy what he does. If he's good enough to play D1, it will happen. However, lets not continue to set him up for failure. Is he Top 12? Yes. He didn't live up the hype and that hurt him - unfairly I might add.
NEERFAN Posted April 8, 2006 Posted April 8, 2006 Noll was a stud down the stretch, that didn't hurt his cause, and I agree about the hype of Jefferson, it hasn't helped.
Tiger1 Posted April 8, 2006 Posted April 8, 2006 This is an elite list, maybe Duran could replace White from Campbell, but good players are going to be left off regardless. Jefferson should have replaced White because he is twice the player White will ever be.

If you are going to use this logic, then White from Campbell does not deserve it because he couldn't lead his team past Scott in the 2nd round of the 37th district tournament.
cch5432 Posted April 8, 2006 Posted April 8, 2006 The arguments to keep White is that I think he scored more and that he is a senior. Except both of those reasons aren't legitamate, and I agree that Duran should have taken his spot.
