Anybody heard yet?

Supposed to be announced Wednesday, but I'm going to dig around and see what I can find out.

Did Lantry attend the try-outs

I think I saw that she was on the list as being invited to go to try-outs so I assume she did, and I really hope she can make it!!!

Rachel Lantry was unable to attend the tryouts from what I understand.

Davis and Sickles were no shows from Lex cath.

Gilbert from Clay County was a no show.

Green from Shelby and Roof from St Mary's left after Friday night.

I look for Kala Faulkner and maybe even Rayburn from West to make the team.

Davis's College coach said she was unable to attend during the two weeks needed during the summer for the games. I think she would have had a great chance at making the team. The two girls that left after Friday night may have been intimidated by how physical the first day try outs were. Roof looked as if she was having a good try out though.

I saw another of the girls who tried out — she came home battered and bruised and sporting a fresh shiner!

A very heroic group of girls at the try outs. I have never seen a more dedicated intense group for a set of try outs. Looking forward to see this group play Indiana.

Any word yet? The announcement should have been made by now I would think.

All-Star Teams Announced

Nice to see such a good representation from the eastern half of the Commonwealth. It appears that the infamous "Winchester Wall" has been extended westward.

I really thought that Kala Faulkner would make the team.

I would have thought that Brandi Rayburn would have also made the team. She's been the MVP of two all-star games already hasn't she?

Collette Cole from Breathitt Co would have been one more had she attended try outs.
