What worries me the most about this game for Danville is the turnovers. If the can keep the turnovers to a minimum they will have a shot. I think they will. Danville 35-31.

Have seen Danville twice this year and the most impressive thing ive seen is their improvement on the defensive side of the ball. If they play that way on Friday it won't be much of a game. Danville 35-14.

Why do the 9th and 10th Regions have to play each other again this year to see who gets to the state tournament? That make three years in a row. 9,10,11,and 12 are supposed to (at least in past) have a rotation with in those four regions so you don't play each other, but the last few year its just been 9 vs. 10 and 11 vs. 12. Anyone know why?

Wow. A little surprised by this score.

This weather stinks!! A lot of teams have scrimmages scheduled for two weeks from Saturday. Most haven't even have had tryouts yet and doesn't look good for them anytime soon.

It is a good group but thats alot to expect from them this year.

The event that wouldn't move was the youth state tournament.

Yes behind the 11th and the 7th. The 12th has had a team in the State Championship game 2 of the last 4 years. I will be very surprised if they don't have 4 teams in the preseason top 25 (Southwestern, West Jessamine, Danville, and Garrard) and 2 more receiving votes (Mercer Co. and Somerset). A lot of talent in the 12th Region again this year and besides at West and Garrard most of it is in the Junior and Sophomore classes.

How are his grades? Centre College might be a good fit for him. Could play baseball and kick for the football team.

I think this region has been the 3rd best in the state for the last several years. This year should be know different.

Most of you guys are right. The next couple years are going to be tough, but help is coming. Those couple kids in the current 7th and 8th grade classes that moved out of state have moved back and those 4-6 grade classes are loaded. Clay is doing a good job and is getting kids excited about Danville football again (especially the younger kids). He and the staff are currently working with those 3-6 graders ounce a week in January and February. At the very least its getting those kids excited about football in the off season.

Washington Co. is the 12th for All A. Washington Co. and Danville play in first round of All A baseball in the Spring.
