If you are a Catholic fan this one feels good, real good!

Congrats Knights!

Boyle starts out 1-3 (those 3 were against quality competition), now have run off nine straight.

I think you meant Lex Cath

Congrats to the Knights. Good luck next week.

I just saw all of PurplePride92's updates.

He was obviously at the game, but was he in the press box?

I don't know how he could have typed the updates otherwise.....it was very cold out there.

LexCath has a high octane offense and a solid chance to win next week.

Lexington Catholic does have a nice team this year.

Winning at Highlands would definitely be an upset for the Knights.

So start the prediction thread and let's talk about it...

Both teams played to win. It was an extremely good game. Boyle a County got inside the 10 yard twice and came out scoreless. Also got inside the 20 I believe on another possession and missed the field goal. You have to finish drives this time of year. Lexington a Catholic made them pay for their mistakes.

I'll let you.

Nobody wants a moral victory but there wasn't any losers tonight. I give credit when it's due and Boyle County is #1 on my list. The improvement talk before the game I thought the fans were just saying that, but man they were better. I admired the fight and the adjustments that they made. I can't believe the efficiency they had in their short and vertical passing game. I can't believe that a game like that was played for the right to advance to the next round, because it felt like a championship final game. I witnessed greatness tonight by Boyle County.

I wish. It was soooooo cold. My hands were frozen by halftime but I had to soldier on.

I wasn't at the first game but that is the best I have seen Reese Ryan look. He was throwing darts out there and I felt like Boyle did a great job not letting Jones get loose running the ball but couldn't stop Reese from throwing it all over the field. He looked really good out there. I was kind of hoping we would score at the very end of the 4th quarter because I felt like Reese could score easily throwing the ball. LC running the ball trying to chew clock almost played right into Boyle's hands.

Good luck next week. It could be another shootout.

You are a better man than me. I never leave games early, but I quit this great game at halftime. I didn't want to stand in the cold for another hour or so.
