SK will surprise next year. True they lost a lot but the JV has good chemistry. I personally think there will be a lot of teams that could win this region.

Great post Mustang, well said, and I agree. You will sse a class A school like St Henry or Bishop Brossart make a championship run in the future. These teams are well coached and give 100% every day. Oh no, did I open another can of worms. (public vrs. private):sssh:

I'll stick to basketball. I see the "plight" of Elliot co. this year and they actually won a game in the process. With all there youth I don't think we have seen the last of them. I think it's safe to say they beat bigger schools to get where they got. You still will not change the SWEET SIXTEEN.:sleep:

OK then just go ahead and give every kid in the state of KY that plays basketball a ring and tell them how great they are. Then I guess they will be prepared for the real world after high school. Does any one single "big" school dominate this tourney every year? I think what Warren Central has done the past 6 years is very impressive and they have "1 possibly 2 championships in that time". The fact of the matter is YOU WILL NOT CHANGE THE COMMONWEALTH'S "SWEET SIXTEEN".

:thumb: Basketball is a sport where you can compete with "THE BIG MONSTER SCHOOLS" with good coaching and dedicating yourself.

There's 49 other states that class, anyone that doesn't like the current system is free to pull up the tent stakes and water your championship down to death. It's a free country. I root for the under-dog every year down state. You win some, you lose some....life goes on.

They hung in there tough, but Scott co. has simply too many weapons. # 11 was very impressive, handled the ball well and went to the rack fearlessly.

Holmes moved the ball very well. A lot of good cuts led to easy buckets.They looked well rebounding the ball. Proffit handled the ball well, but was terrible shooting.The first period he was lucky to draw iron.

Good luck to the mountain teams. I've seen a lot of upsets the last 26 years of the "sweet sixteen". Nothing is impossible at this point in the season. A lot of people are really taking for granted these games are set and stone. The more the under-dogs stick around the louder the"nuetral" fans get for them.Not saying it's going to happen, just don't count them out 2 days before the tourney starts.

This thread is nothing but wasted time. Never gonna happen. You could debate untill you are blue in the face. There is a special feeling about going to Rupp in mid March. Every kids dream in the state. Is Kentucky the only one who doesn't class now? I didn't read every post in this thread. Excuse me in advance if i'm repeating something.
