The thing Bleed Blue needs to realize is that grade school is over and for the next 3 or 4 years no matter what KCC does they have no chance to win a district or region because of JBS. As much as you hate that it is just the truth.

This was not a fun game to watch. Hopefully Sl will play better the next game.....

What could anyone do? I saw Stepp walk off and it might have been caused by the vulgar language that the Hazard student section was yelling at him. I have never heard such vulgar language yelled at a player and it was heard easily on the other side of the gym. If that is not the reason that he walked off then he was in the wrong. Bleed Blue, Why dont you just leave the JBS program alone and worry about your own program? There seems to be a few people like you who just dont want these two schools to coincide.

There has been some rumors of a couple of kids leaving JBS but it looks like all things are coming together for all the kids to remain at JBS. There are many schools that would like to get Cox but it looks like he will play his high school ball at JBS. He is an exceptional talent and has an unbelievable future. The Collins kid will return as a sophomore next year and probably be 6'10" by then. The future looks bright for the Crusaders....

Whoever goes from the 14th is who I'm for so I'll say Hazard by 3.......

It looks like all players will be returning to JBS for next year. I think too much is made of this hatred between the two schools. I dont think it is a problem between the kids but a problem between a few adults. There is no reason the two schools cant coincide together to bring attention to how good basketball can be in all county schools including Cordia. JBS will start working in a couple of weeks for next years season and it will not be to get better than KCC but to get better than the whole 14th region. JBS will definitely be the #1 preseason ranked team in the 14th for next year . THese kids work extremely hard and they could have something special happen there over the next few years.

Good win for the Dogs. Go represent the 14th region well at Rupp. Also, if the politicians in Hazard let Spurlock go there should be an investigation. They better be grateful for what they have and get over not being able to control him and make him play who they want. The guy has a state champioship ring and is taking them to the sweet 16. It would be pitiful if they let him go. I am not a Hazard fan just and honest one......

Toss up game. Hazard should win the game by a few points but Jackson City seems to be a team of destiny.

If all of JBS players return plus get back Garrison Collins JBS will not only be the best team in the region but also possibly a top 20 in state....imo

It was a great game. Even though JBS didnt come out on top they ended the season at 23-6 and I think finally earned the respect of people in the region. I dont think anyone will overlook JBS for many years to come. Cox was awesome and people in the crowd were amazed he was just an eight grader. Good luck next season to JBS.........

Not sure of final score. JBS had ball and down one with 40 seconds and ran clock down to 6 seconds and Stepp got took to ground with no call. Hazard throwed ball to other end for easy layup for 3 point win. Would have loved to seen the game decided by players and not a no call by the ref. Probably on of the best games I have ever seen though....

It is a shame that PCC is not ranked in the top 20 in state..........

Garrison COllins from June Buchanan will probably go about 6"10" by then and is already a huge defensive presence. He had 18 against Henry Clay this year as a freshman.......

Barbourville has had an awesome season and it is a shame that South Laurel got put in their region this year........

JBS has the potential to be something special next year. The return ever player but one and some of their young kids will mature that could make this team unreal. They could have unbelievable size with 3 or 4 kids going from 6'5" to 6'10". That is besides Stepp and Cox.

In my opinion Al Holland is going nowhere. He has the best job in Eastern KY with a 10 school feeder system. He makes more money than any coach in Eastern KY.
