Southwestern could not buy a basket and the refs only made things much worse....I have no clue where they are from but i'll say they can't call BB for beans....

SW could not hit point blank shots or threes. Boyle got them in the half court game. Staed had 28 points and 15 rebounds. It was not a good called game either way. Boyle just outplayed SW and I was for the Warriors. Boyle led 20-4 at the end of the first and that was the difference in the game. Good luck to Boyle at Rupp next week. Congrats to Coach Dave Schulz and the Warriors on a great year and 23-9 record.

Come tourney time you need to be able to run 1/2 court sets.

SW got beat on the 1/2 court offense tonight because they didnt have any.

Boyles 3-2 zone killed them and SW Not hitting a 3 or any shot for that matter didn't help. As I said in a another thread if SW gets locked into a 1/2 court game they will lose, and thats what happen tonight.

THe Refs were HORRIBLE Both ways. They shouldnt be allowed back in a gym ever!!!

Hottest team in the state! Congratulations to Coach Bottoms. I'm calling for the Rebels to get to Saturday morning, and they are capable of getting to the finals.

Tough ending to an excellent season for SW. I'm feeling for you Coach Schulz and Co.

That is what I said also. Boyle got them in a half-court game. SW had shots at the basket. They did not fall. If they had hit some of their layups, then the game would have went down to the last minute.

Ronnie Bottoms has worked so hard for this opportunity. He has a great love for the game and for his players. Here in Boyle County we call him and his family "good folks"!!!! He has a wonderful team of kids that will and have played the very best they can and now are going to the sweet 16:banana:  On another note - I had a number of people tell me that they were so impressed with SW fans and players. Just goes to show you that you can get two sides together for a game and appreicate each other for how each acts. Again, a class act from SW:thumb:

Yes, it was a very good game. Sw gets some shots to fall in the 1st qtr and Boyle doesnt get out to such a big lead the game might have been different.

Dustin F not hitting his 1st 3 until about 3 mins to go in the 4th tells you how well SW shot the rock.

Great season by the Warriors! Sorry to see Dustin F's career end I have watched that kid grow since he was a ball boy when I played.

Good luck to Boyle at Rupp!!!

Great win for the Rebels.. Boyle is making a habit of ending the Warriors' seasons a few games early in football and now basketball..:irked: But I love the rivalry and Boyle has some awesome fans and supporters so I will be rooting hard for the Rebs to knock down some wins at Rupp and represent the region well..:thumb:
