The thing I would do if I was you is have your athletic director call JBS and schedule them for next year. Since they have played such an easy schedule that you all say then it should be an easy win for you.

I agree with you that JBS should not be playing the teams that you have metioned and if they would have replaced these games with better competition coming from the 14th and 15th region I think it would have made them better for next year.

It is amazing to me that the same people continue to show their hatred towards a program made up of young kids. I don't agree with alot of the things the coaching staff does but there is no excuse to attack young kids on these pages.

You are correct that JBS does not need to play these teams. They voted last year to seed their district which means they would have played Letcher,Knott,Cordia,and Jenkins twice this year. They were voted down and picked up some of these games. The district did vote to seed next year so these games will go away. OBI is a good team now that they have the 6'7" center on the team. He just became elgible a couple weeks ago and they are better than most people realize. It is bad for them that they did not get to play a full season with him.

This Cordia team is better than most people think. They will be a tough opponent in the 14th region tourney.

They played team ball most of the game but probably need to get the big guy more looks. They are very scrappy...

I am not sure why such a big deal is being made of this but the game was cancelled twice because of snow. Matewan does have a basketball team and the game was on the schedule all year. The game is on the season schedule that the team hands out at the beginning of the year. The game would have been played on two different occasions. There are a lot of graduates from ALC that come from the Matewan area. I think there might be a former ball player from ALC that coaches Matewan. I do not think there was a score ever posted on this game because I look at these schedule often to compare teams in the region and I would have noticed this.

This Paintsville team has really surprised me this year.

This OBI team never quits with the pressure. They are very athletic and the new kid that just became elgible is tough. He is a big 6'7" and has a nice shooting touch. Does anyone know what grade he is in? I think he just became elgible last week. JBS looked good and seem to be getting used to their new lineup.

Pendleton was probably bored...Everybody else in the 10th are playing for second place in the region...

Montgomery has a nice team but will not go to Lee Co and win. I'll say Lee Co by 10....

I thought it would be a tough game until I saw the 1-19 record. Nice artwork though....

The stats are after Collins was injured. Hall didnt get much playing time before. He is an unbelieveable rebounder but gets into foul trouble because he is so aggressive.

Brent Hall is starting for Collins and averaging a double-double. The other new starter is Ryan Conley who should have been starting all year. THe reason why is too long a story to tell. He probably may be the best all around player on the team and can easily get 15-18 points per game. He started every game last year and finally got put back in the lineup this year.
