DirtySally Posted March 9, 2006 Posted March 9, 2006 Who do the teams in the 14th have coming back next year? Who should be the standout? Will it be like this year, each team being able to compete with the others?
The Professor Posted March 9, 2006 Posted March 9, 2006 With Collins returning and all the other talented youngsters that they have, June Buchanan would about have to be the pre-season # 1. Perry, Hazard , Lee (although they will miss Rich), all wll be good....and Knott (young team this year), Powell (every player is back), and Letcher (you have to feel that once they get in their new school and gym that it will add a spark to the Cougars), should be a factor. Breathitt was also young this year. I'm not sure about Leslie, they will lose a lot of talent this year. But IMO JBS will be the number one team, maybe for the next couple of years.
RoundLeather Posted March 10, 2006 Posted March 10, 2006 Breathitt will be 10-12 wins better next season, maybe more.
PerryCentral20 Posted March 10, 2006 Posted March 10, 2006 JBS and PCC, and if Hicks stays at Hazard then them two.
lucky13 Posted March 10, 2006 Posted March 10, 2006 June Buchanan will be dangerous as will Lee COunty. I think June Buchanon will be very difficult to beat next year
uk96 Posted March 10, 2006 Posted March 10, 2006 JBS has the potential to be something special next year. The return ever player but one and some of their young kids will mature that could make this team unreal. They could have unbelievable size with 3 or 4 kids going from 6'5" to 6'10". That is besides Stepp and Cox.
CatchMeIfYouCan Posted March 10, 2006 Posted March 10, 2006 Leslie will be returning 2 starters in Ryan Howard (Point Guard) & Brian Hubbard (Shooting Guard). They will also be returning Shannon Roberts, who has seen a few minutes of Varsity time this season, Justin Wright & Casey Bowling.
mysteryman2006 Posted March 10, 2006 Posted March 10, 2006 After loosing 7 seniors it will be hard for the Estill County Engineers to be as good as last year team. But if anyone can turn this team around it is Coach Tiller.
Big Game Player Posted March 10, 2006 Posted March 10, 2006 Justin Hicks/Micheal Campbell -Hazard Daniel Neeley/ Trey Congelton- Owsley Kenny Brandenburg- Lee Tate Cox/ Clark Stepp- June B. Justin Holland- Breathitt Zack Gay- Buckhorn I'm not for sure what Perry, Jackson City or Knott is bringing back?
CatchMeIfYouCan Posted March 10, 2006 Posted March 10, 2006 Leslie loses 6 seniors...Daniel Day, Quentin Morgan, Tyler Wells, B.j. Young, Riley Hendrix & John Horton. 3 full time starters (Daniel, Quentin & Tyler) & there 6th, 7th & 8th men in B.j., Riley & John.
CatchMeIfYouCan Posted March 10, 2006 Posted March 10, 2006 Justin Hicks/Micheal Campbell -Hazard Daniel Neeley/ Trey Congelton- Owsley Kenny Brandenburg- Lee Tate Cox/ Clark Stepp- June B. Justin Holland- Breathitt Zack Gay- Buckhorn I'm not for sure what Perry, Jackson City or Knott is bringing back? You can add.. Ryan Howard/ Brian Hubbard- Leslie
The Professor Posted March 10, 2006 Posted March 10, 2006 JBS and PCC, and if Hicks stays at Hazard then them two. Why wouldn't Hicks stay at Hazard?
The Professor Posted March 10, 2006 Posted March 10, 2006 Justin Hicks/Micheal Campbell -Hazard Daniel Neeley/ Trey Congelton- Owsley Kenny Brandenburg- Lee Tate Cox/ Clark Stepp- June B. Justin Holland- Breathitt Zack Gay- Buckhorn I'm not for sure what Perry, Jackson City or Knott is bringing back? Add Fetters, Johnson, and the twins to Lee's list. Powell has everyone back for their new coach. They played pretty good at times this year....had Perry Central down 20 before losing by 2.
Lightning Posted March 10, 2006 Posted March 10, 2006 Justin Hicks/Micheal Campbell -Hazard Daniel Neeley/ Trey Congelton- Owsley Kenny Brandenburg- Lee Tate Cox/ Clark Stepp- June B. Justin Holland- Breathitt Zack Gay- Buckhorn I'm not for sure what Perry, Jackson City or Knott is bringing back? Andy Blank from Buckhorn will be one of the best shooters in the region.
