Most or all regional tournaments play the entire 1st Round on Memorial Day.

This is a first round game of the All A State Tournament at Applebees Park this weekend! I don't know a lot about Walton-Verona, but Hazard is coming in playing pretty good baseball today. Any thoughts on this one.

Anyone know anything about Walton Verona?

Hazard came out and played great from the start. I believe it was 6-0 after the 1st inning. Congratulations to the Bulldogs and Good Luck at Applebees against Walton Verona.

Pretty good one for the 14th Region All A Championship. Hazard jumped up with a lead and Lee Co. came back. Hazard was able to hold them off. Congrats to Hazard on their win.

This was a pretty good game on both sides. They both made their plays and had timely hits. All in all impressive game on both sides. Jackson City came to the game with the intention of winning and almost pulled it off. Great effort by the Tigers. Hazard survived in this one. Never really got the hits they needed. Good win for the Dawgs. The pitcher for Jackson City done a great job. Never got rattled and held his own. Hazard's starter done the same, maybe got a little tired. The relief pitcher that came in is probably Hazard's #2. Threw much harder and Jackson had a hard time catching up to the FB. Much better game to sit through than the first game of the night.

IMO, this is what beat them. I can't understand holding your top guy back when you have to win.

This is the first game of the 14th Region All A Semi-Finals. It is being played at Wolfe Co. Not sure of the start time. Any thoughts?

Looks to have been a great game between two of the better teams in the 14th Region. Any stats or details? Apparently it was a pitchers' dual.

Riverside is a small christian school. This is the All A or Hazard would not be playing them. I look for this to be a good opportunity for the JV to get some at bats and time on the field for Hazard.

I look for Hazard to have an easy one in this game. Everyone should get to play in this one.

This one surprises me. Good win for the Bobcats!

If I was guessing, Potter would have pitched for JBS.

That is what happened last year with the 15th Region. One of the teams wanted in and then dropped out due to a scheduling conflict.

I don't understand how you don't consider Hazard as one of the favorites in the region. They played terrible and almost beat Letcher Central. They beat Perry and I agree with fanatic on the officiating. They played a tough Lawrence Co. team to the wire until Lawrence scored a couple runs late. Take away the 1st inning against South Laurel and it is a 2-3 run ball game. Hazard came out of the gate slow, but that was due to the couple of days they had to take off for the state tournament. I see Hazard in the top 5

Yes. I'd put Hazard in there as well. They beat PCC this past Tuesday 5-3. Right now I'd go. 1. Estill Co. 2. Powell Co. 3. Letcher Central 4. Hazard 5. Perry Central Either of these 5 could win the region.

Dean has a pretty good team. They hit the ball and catch it. They what they need to do to win.

Based on the score on their earlier game, looks as if Jackson called off the dogs early in this one. Any stats or details?
