Jackson City advances to the 14th Region All A Semi-Finals to play Hazard. Looks to have been a good one. Any stats or details?

I saw part of it. Jackson was pounding the ball. Goff was pitching for them and doing a great job. Jenkins didn't appear to hit well and their runs were mostly if not completely unearned.

 

Puckett pitched the last inning for Jenkins but it was too little, too late. They must have been trying to saving him for bigger game in the All A.

 

If Jackson can cure the piddly little errors in the infield they will surprise some folks this season.

IMO, this is what beat them. I can't understand holding your top guy back when you have to win.

I agree ompletely, IMO, it was just simply Jenkins ovverlooking the Tigers. It appeared that June Buchanon did the same thing, only pitching their starter 2 innings, then being forced to bring him back later when they got down. They were playing for the next game and not the one at hand

Congratulations TIGERS on beating two teams that showed no respect by not throwing their best. Hazard will do the same as the other two did and not pitch their best to save for the championship. I hope the Tigers can show another team that they cannot be overlooked.
