They played last season. Hazard won easily. Can't remeber the score. Two different teams this season though.

The reason Buckhorn and Hazard did not play was because Hazard won the All A and it put them over on their schedule limit. They cancelled their game with Buckhorn until next season. Buckhorn beating PCC was not an upset. Beating them by 33 was the only surprise.

Tonight @PCC for the 54th District Championship. What are everyone's thoughts?

Buckhorn outmanned PCC in every aspect of the game. PCC was lost and had no answer to them at all. Everyone on the red side was stunned. If Buckhorn plays like this from here on out, it will be tough to beat them. John Noble has done an outstanding job with this team.

John Noble hands down now. Don't get me wrong Banks has done a great job, but I think a lot of people thought Breathitt would have a good team this year. They returned almost everything with lots of talent. Buckhorn lost 4 seniors, three that were 4 year starters. Who would've thought that Buckhorn would have sent PCC home the way they did.

This will be a great game. I'll take LCC by 1 in a barn burner.

I'll say Powell by 6, but Estill is very capable of winning this one..

This will be a great game. I am pulling Buckhorn to win. PCC is playing great and is tough at home. It will take a good one for Da Horn.

I think Jackson will come out ready to play early, but Breathitt's numbers will get them late. Breathitt by 15.

The reason I don't like it is because I don't want to pay $10 to watch two games.

I just read that Letcher Central was going to have the semi finals of the region as a split session. That means they would empty the gym after the first one and then have to repay to watch the next game. I really don't like this.

Buckhorn actually plays Riverside on Saturday. One thing is for sure these two teams have had some dandy games in the past. Buckhorn has won the last two in the first of the all a. Both by buzzer beaters. The fans and teams really get into it as well. Great rivalry.

This has turned inot one of the better rivalries amongst small schools around. Not a lot of love between the two. Should be a good one in the Lion's Den.

Absolutely. Buckhorn is another team who seems to be playing good right now. I am looking forward to this game.

I believe the Buckhorn/PCC game will bring as much hype as PCC/Hazard in the past. This is starting to turn into a good rivalry between the county schools. I would say there will be a good crowd there. A lot of purple and red.

Slow start for DA Horn, but they was able to get on track. Zach Gay had a big game with 20 points and 11 rebounds (I think). Both Justin Rice and Gay was awarded 1,000 point awards. Gay is only a junior and Rice is a senior who has also had 1,000 rebounds his career. Good win and good luck the rest of the season.

This should be a good one. PCC is playing very good right now. PCC by 9. A close 9.

In this game, Powell should be favored, but Estill is also very capable of beating them. Powell has been playing well as of late and Estill has been up and down all season. Should be a good one.

I am getting this started a little early. For the first time in 5 years (I believe) PCC and Hazard did not draw each other. Will they be happy with the draw this season. PCC VS Buckhorn This will be a great game to watch between these TWO Perry County schools. Buckhorn is very capable of upsetting the Commodores. Hazard VS Leslie Co. Leslie has been up and down all season long, but they have beaten PCC once this season. Hazard better not overlook them. If either or both PCC and Hazard loses, will they still push for the seeding. Any thoughts!!!!!

I think if Buckhorn gets past PCC, they will make a great run in the region. About like another small class A team did last season. They must get by the first one though and it will be a tough one. I am looking forward to the game.

Good win for Buckhorn. It was close late in the game. I think it was tied at one point before Buckhorn pulled away with the win.

Buckhorn won by around 20 earlier this season in the all a. I think it will be a little closer. Buckhorn by 10. They are playing good right now.
