Have there been any big upsets that have knocked a legitimate contender out?

I haven't seen a one yet. Doss was the closest out of the top 10 to lose, needing that buzzer beater. None of the rest of the top 10 has even been threatened.

I really think they mean a top ten team, but in the grand scheme of things when "we" Kentucky only crown one State Champion in Basketball any upset in District or Regional play would be a big upset in most other States since they will have class champions like we do with football.

 

An upset within any District or Region in Ky would qualify as a upset to me.:thumb:

In the 54th district (14th region) Buckhorn beat top 3 team Perry County Central @ PCC by 33 points. It will be Buckhorn vs Hazard for the district title.
