How is their new field comig along? Will they be on it for this season?

Where and who do some of the 14th Region teams play this pre-season?

I really liked Wolfe last season. They struggled early, but they always competed and played hard. Their youth has grew up with another season and they should be much better. I look for them to finish 2nd in the district and they will give some teams in the region fits. They won't be an easy win for anyone.

I believe on Sports 101 I heard Brian Milam say they adopted him.

Have they drawn for the All A yet?

What is the news on this?

Buckhorn made a great step toward being one of the top teams in the region last season knocking off PCC in the district and making it to the Regional for the firs time since '99. Buckhorn will have to find a way to replace Justin Rice. Only one player, but played like 2 or 3. John Noble has done a great job and should have them ready this season. I see them as a pre-season top 5 team.

It starts on the 2nd and finishes on the 11th. I put the 10th, but messed up. Hopefully one of these teams will be in the finals for us to watch.

I know Davidson will be back which is their top returning player and one of the top ten players of the region.

I watched Wolfe play last season and they reminded me of Breathitt a couple of years ago. Very young with good talent and they played hard. Now Breathitt is one of the top teams in the region. Wolfe will be there eventually. They are young with good talent and impressed me with how hard they played last year.

Nevermind, I see the other thread.

I didn't know Jackson City lost their coach. Where did Hall go to?

Did they play this past weekend? I know they usually play the 13th region on Father's Day.

Who made the East/West team for juniors and seniors?

I have talked to Tim and he is doing ok. No vital organs were hurt. He said he was just sore and should be ok. A lot of prayers were answered. God is good!

Timothy is the head baseball coach at Buckhorn H.S. and was accidentally shot in the stomach. ALL prayers are needed at this time. Thanks and God Bless!

I agree that Coach Dean had a lot to do with Powell's kids being ready for last season's championship, but Chris Varney is a very good coach and earns as much credit. He knows the game and can teach it. Look at Hazard since he has left there from being an assistant. Powell will remain one of the top teams in the region for years to come.

Any more info on this job?

Any new info on Hatcher staying or leaving PCC for UHA?

I am glad for Dean and Melton. They have both been on the losing end, but one will finally get one. They both deserve it. Good luck to both teams.

Couch has signed to play for Lincoln Memorial.

If for some reason Hatcher decided to go to UHA, any thoughts of what PCC would do?

Most of the players won't be selected until the Region Tournament drawings. I know that is when the 14th Region selects their players.

I know in basketball there was some big moves and a lot of rumors. Will baseball be the same or will most of the coaches remain where they are?
