What does Hazard need to do to improve in 2007/2008? What do they need to keep doing to be successful? Remember, please be constructive.

With the two new addtions to the program, Hazard will be right in the mix of things come March madness. They now have a legit point guard that can get to the basket, get the right people the ball and shoot if he is left open. They return Campbell and Jones on the inside and with the addition of Warren in their too, they will definitely be big and can rebound with anyone. Will be a team that is quick and can press up and down the floor and back into a zone if they need to to protect Campbell when he gets in foul trouble. They also have some returning perimeter players that will help the team as well. Randy Lewis is a slasher and can shoot when left open. I would say that should be the starting 5.

They also have some great roll players that should come off of the bench that can play some defense and shoot the ball from the 3 pt line.

PCC will beat Hazard.

Hazard just became a lot better with 2 transfers coming in who both started for Bell last season (Warren started part of the season). It will be hard for PCC to beat Hazard, but its a rivalry so who knows what will happen.

Hazard will beat PCC as many times as they play them next year.

The most interesting games this season in the 14th will not be so much be Hazard-Perry County Central, which is always interesting because of the rivalry, but rather Hazard-June Buchanan, the defending region champs with everyone back. Those will be some of the best games in the mountains this winter.

How can that happen I was told that JBS would not schedule any of the top teams in the region.JBS will not schedule Hazard this year.Also i would say that it would be safe to beat tht JBS will not play Breathitt this year,or any other team that could beat them in this region. Why not let the top teams play? Because if JBS knows if they lose they will not be the top dog.:fight: :banana:

Hazard could play JBS in the WYMT or the All A.

Any 14th region team could eventually play one another this season. Just because they're not scheduled in the regular season doesn't mean they won't meet in tournament games.

I believe that the Warren kid is not eligible this year. This is the word out of the 13th region.

If i am thinking right JBS and Breathitt Co. plays in WYMT tourney this year,not meaning they will play each other in first round but could as brackets plays out,hopefully they will,but i do think JBS and Hazard are in the mix to win this region along with the Bobcats of Breathitt Co...........

Can anyone confirm this? I know the Whitaker kid is eligible. If he got eligible, the other kid should be too. Same family/guardian, you never know how they are going to rule at the KHSAA though.

When you say "same", are you referring to he lives with them or he is the legal guardian, as per a court ruling?
