Will they be making this game up?

Knott has been playing pretty good ball this season, but I think Cumberland will be too much for them. Cumberland by 13.

I think JBS will be focused. I haven't seen them come into a game and overlook anyone yet. JBS by 12.

This will be a good one. Not only is it Hazard VS CLay, but it is Holland VS Spurlock, and Spurlock VS Hazard (his old team). Should be a dandy. I'll take Hazard by 6.

Both teams are playing pretty goo, but Hazard really seems to have stepped it up. I think they'll be too much for Knott. Hazard by 14. Also, I am hearing Hazard has a new transfer in from PCC.

My thoughts exactly. These 4 teams are probably the favorites. Just depends on the hottest team at the time like BGP said. Fom looking at the brackets though Buckhorn and Leslie Co. will meet in the second round. Hazard and Owlsey should meet in the semi finals.

Has this game for sure been cancelled?

I think the girls is way more wide open than the boys is. There is no clear favorite. Seems most of these teams have played close to each other. It will be interesting.

I think this will be a good game to watch. They had two good ones last season. I think Hazard will win this one by 5.

Was this game played last night? If so who won and what was the score? If not, will it be made up?

I feel it is JBS and Hazard's tournament to lose. But It is set up (if no upsets) for JBS and BUckhorn to meet and Cordia and Hazard to meet in the semi finals. These are two teams very capable of beating someone on a good night or an off night by the other.

I too was there as a neutral fan. If I am thinking correctly PCC and Breathitt was on the same side and at halftime Breathitt was in full control. The 2nd half became so obvious what was going on that even the PCC fans started cheering for Breathitt. It got so bad they had a huge fight to break out with both teams and the fans. It was ugly. The next night was just as bad agains PCC. Except it began at the starting. Usually during the state tournament I am for teh 14th, but I couldn't make myself support a team that literally had the region handed to them. I even thing that Breathitt or PCC could have won a game or two that year at state.

I would say Leslie Co. would be a team that would be one of the favorites as well. Also, Buckhorn beat Hazard earlier this season. Maybe could put them up there.

You are right, they beat Buckhorn in the finals. The place was packed with both schools and these are probably two of the smallest schools in the region. Very well represented.

As of now, I would say Estill is the easy favorite for this district. Depending on the seeding, the two teams who stay away from Estill will have the better chance at going to the region. Don't get me wrong, Estill can be beat, but this is how I feel at this point of the season.

I don't know. Both teams have started off slow. PCC will come in remembering the embarrasing loss Buckhorn gave them in the district. Buckhorn needs to forget it. Should be a good one. This could actually make or break each team's season. Buckhorn by 4.

A 20 point win for JBS wouldn't surprise me. But, I think I'll take them by 14.

JBS and Hazard are the top teams in the 14th and the brackets have worked out to where they should play in the championship game. But JBS will probably have to go through Buckhorn, and Hazard would probably have to beat Cordia. Two teams that is good enough to beat you if you don't bring your A game.
