  1. I think this game shown us two different things. 1)LCC is starting to play very good and is making a run at the right time. 2)JBS really missed Cox in this game.
  2. Leslie Co. was supposed to host the district, but due to the fire they traded with PCC and they will host it this year. Leslie will get it back next season. That gives PCC hosting the 14th Region All A Finals, 54th District, and the boys 14th Region Tournament. A lot of money coming in.
  3. This will be a battle. So much at stake with this game. I am going with Powell by 3 and that should really make the seeding interesting.
  4. 7 East Carter 5 Ashland 3 Corbin 2 Pike Central 1 Rose Hill TB: Corbin
  5. I think it will probably come down to Hazard or Leslie Co.
  6. This was actually a pretty good game. Estill pulled away in the 4th. Very physical. Buckhorn played much better than I thought with Blank sitting out. Still, they need him on the floor.
  7. Buckhorn and JBS both have ????? right now with key players being out. Both Tate Cox (JBS) and Andy Blank (Buckhorn) are injured with their knee. Not sure of anymore details, but both teams need these players healthy to make a good run in the All A.
  8. I haven't heard anything else. But if it is so, I don't see a big run for Buckhorn. Hopefully it isn't as bad as maybe expected. Andy is a great player and carries a big load for Buckhorn in their success.
  9. I have been told that Andy Blank was injured in this game. Any truth to this? This would really hurt Buckhorn.
  10. Listened to parts of this game and it sounded sluggish. Close to the end with Buckhorn pulling it out. I can't remember when these two teams have played and the game not be tight. Always seems to be a battle no matter what. Does anyone know any stats for this one. Not a lot of points scored in this one.
  11. I watched this game on http://www.wazoosports.com yesterday and it was a good one. Seemed that PCC made their comeback when they started pushing the ball more. Great effort by both teams with a great finish.
  12. Hazard was in control from the start. PCC never could get into rhythm. Tough defense played by Hazard helped cause easy baskets all night.
  13. If they meet, and they should, it would be played at Perry Central. I agree JBS is the favorite to win the all a and the region with Hazard a close 2nd. But to think Buckhorn is a cakewalk is a little off. This is a good basketball team with a bad record, but look at their schedule. It hasn't been easy and in most of these games they could have won and their record would be different. I promise if JBS overlooks Buckhorn, they will not have to worry about the championship game.
  14. I have watched PCC play the last couple games and it seems that when PCC runs they get more out of their offense. However, I think Hazard is just bette than PCC and should get the win.
  15. I don't think JBS has a cakewalk to the finals. Maybe to the semifinals. They'll beat Riverside. So actually Cox would be better off to sit until the semifinals if it just a bruise. THey'll probably be playing Buckhorn in the semi-finals and they will need Cox on the floor in this game. Buckhorn is no cake walk.
  16. Ok. I thought I had heard that. Thanks for the clear up.
  17. That is what I was going to put as well. Even though Buckhorn's record isn't as good as one would like, I would still put them up against anyone in the region. They have a very good basketball team and seems to be playing better right now. They have been battling injuries throughout the season and there is no cupcake on their schedule. It has been tough, but it is making them tough as well.
  18. This is a huge loss for JBS. Cox is a quite type of player who is not flashy, but IMO is the key to their success. He is a great scorer and tough on the defensive side. He helps JBS and really hurts the opposing teams. This would really give Hazard an edge in the All A.
  19. Any details on this? Is it confirmed? Serious or not? This could be a huge blow for JBS if something comes of this.
  20. This will be a good game and will let us have an idea of who the better team is in this district. Of course they are 1 and 2, but they draw in this district. I think Wolfe Co. will get Breathitt in this one. Wolfe by 5.
  21. Even though PCC is playing better, I think Hazard is playing a lot better than earlier. Hazard will win big in this one. Around 15.
  22. Was Hollan hurt? Someone had told me had quit. That is why it surprised me when I saw him playing. Hollan is a good player and with the problems they are having he is very important to the success in this team. Along with Smith.
  23. Any details on this game? Two big wins for Letcher Central.
  24. 7 JBS 5 Shelby Valley 3 Allen Central 2 Belfry 1 Ashland TB: JBS
  25. I know Hazard won this game, but does anyone know what the score was.
