Hazard 68 PCC 42

The Hazard Bulldogs traveled to the John C. Combs arena this evening and played a near perfect game defeating PCC 68 to 42. The dogs used their defense to cause turnovers that resulted in many quick baskets while Josh Whitaker put on a shooters clinic.:fire:

Hazard shot 65%, Whitaker had 20pts and 9 ast, Jones had 10pts and 9 reb

lewis and Campbell had 10 pts.

 

The dawgs led by 22 at the half and as much as 32.

Hazard was in control from the start. PCC never could get into rhythm. Tough defense played by Hazard helped cause easy baskets all night.

No doubt who is the cream of the crop in that district this year! Where is district played this year?

 

Leslie Co. was supposed to host the district, but due to the fire they traded with PCC and they will host it this year. Leslie will get it back next season. That gives PCC hosting the 14th Region All A Finals, 54th District, and the boys 14th Region Tournament. A lot of money coming in.

This game was never close. Hazard did nothing spectacular. They just ran their offense and got wide open looks all night. They beat PCC in every aspect of the game. Al didn't try to beat them bad or run up the score. Hazard only scored 68 points.
