bill_ed Posted January 17, 2008 Posted January 17, 2008 The Stepp brothers scored 30 each. No Cox in the box score?
The Breeze Posted January 17, 2008 Posted January 17, 2008 Squeaked by in this one by 71 points must have been hot last night, I have always heard what goes around comes around.
Lightning Posted January 17, 2008 Posted January 17, 2008 Heard Cox may have hurt his knee????? Any details on this? Is it confirmed? Serious or not? This could be a huge blow for JBS if something comes of this.
3 Point Play Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 How much did the Stepp brothers play in this one? I think South Floyd is winless this season.
divadawg Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 I heard that the JBS varsity played up until 3 minutes in the 4th quarter with only a few exceptions. I didn't attend, so I can't verify this information, however if this is true, I wonder how all the 2nd and 3rd string JBS players feel sitting on the bench and watching the varsity run up points against a much weaker opponent. I know I wouldn't be happy if I were in their shoes.

callmeclutch Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 Any details on this? Is it confirmed? Serious or not? This could be a huge blow for JBS if something comes of this. Tate is out for at least 2 weeks with a strained MCL. After the two weeks he will day to day.
The Professor Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 That will definitely hurt JBS's chances of making it out of the All A region. They need Cox, who's probably their most consistent deep threat.

Lightning Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 Tate is out for at least 2 weeks with a strained MCL. After the two weeks he will day to day. This is a huge loss for JBS. Cox is a quite type of player who is not flashy, but IMO is the key to their success. He is a great scorer and tough on the defensive side. He helps JBS and really hurts the opposing teams. This would really give Hazard an edge in the All A.
Master of the Hardwood Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 Yes losing the best player on the team will hurt them, but I'm sure when they make the finals next weekend, Cox will be right there playing with them trying to beat Hazard. Cox is a player and I'm sure is not about to sit out an important game like this. He is better on one leg than most of the region is full strength.
