  1. I'm sure your right Z5. But Yeagle took it to a whole differnt level.
  2. I think that Rash has bigger shoes to fill than Yeagle did. 8 state titles in 15 years. 7 straight state title apperances. That is some very big shoes to fill. I know Bernie was a good coach but I think Noel has bigger shoes to fill than Yeagle did. Now I'm waiting for all of the Bernie Barre fans to comment on this.
  3. I would have to say the 1992 playoff game between Highlands and Cov Cath was an upset. I don't remember the score but Highlands won. Cov Cath was loaded that year. They beat Moeller. They destroyed us 53-9. That Cov Cath team has to be one of the best ever not to win a State Title. I was in the 10th grade that year. A couple of friends of mine and myself were listening to the game on the radio. After Highlands had won we went up to one of our friends house who lives on Dixie Hwy. We took his Tiger flag. We were running up and down Dixie Hwy waving it right around Beechwood road. Highlands fans were giving us cheers while the Cov Cath faithful was telling us what they thought of us LOL The funniest thing about this is that Coach B who is Bob Burnett drove right bye us. We thought for sure we would be in trouble. But he didn't say anything to us. He was just laughing at us as he drove away.
  4. Scott Zahler signed with Miami of Ohio after we won state in 94.
  5. Since he didn't get the Head Coaching job has Burnett decided to leave or are you guys just assuming he will leave???
  6. That is good to hear. Gosh knows I'm sure everyone in Fort Mitchell hated to see New Cath win the title this year even though they were such a dominate team.
  7. Quick you must have read my post wrong. I was referring to you know what happened after Yeagle took over. I meant we were a dynasty. Gosh I loved playing under the man. I still think he is the best coach in Ky history. If not there he is the best in Nky.
  8. Nahh GT not me. LOL Even though I would love to get into coaching sometime.
  9. Who are the familar faces from the past???
  10. Quick I have heard nothing but good things about Noel. My niece is a junior at Beechwood. She speaks very highly of him. But on the other hand I'm like Z 5 I was very worried about giving someone without coaching experience another chance like they did with Yeagle. Everyone knows what happened there.
  11. One of the Seahawks brodcasters is a Trinty alum and former player???
  12. Sounds to me as well just by reading everything on here he would be a good choice for the job.
  13. I don't know that much about the Coach from Ludlow. I know that he took them to the playoffs and that his team ended a very long losing streak in Nky a couple of years ago. But to leave for Taylor not disrepecting anyone he can do better than that. I remember we played them over there in 94 my senior year. The only thing I remember about them is that one of their end zones went up a hill.
  14. I'm a huge UT fan. Brent and Justin from what I have read on here are 2 totally differnt QB's. He got into a lot of trouble at UT so why do you think it won't be much differnt at NCSTATE?
  15. CCH Alter and NCC are all big games for Beechwood besides Dixie. I don't know the other teams but this is a good schedule for Beechwood.
  16. Is he a Beechwood assistant coach?
  17. Someone told me last night that he heard that Yeagle will be the head coach once the new 4a school is built in Boone County somewhere.
  18. I met Bryson Warner at a certain resturant I work at after Yeagle resigned. He told me that he needed an OC. Coach Yeagle will do a fine job at Ryle. But I do have one question though. What if they struggle?? Is a lot of people calling for his job to give Yeagle a chance?? That would be something I wouldn't want to deal with.
  19. Roy would do a fine job with the Tigers. He was there when we won all those state titles in the 90's. I'm sure he learned a lot from Yeagle and his dad Roy Sr.
  20. Quick I think you are hiding some things you are not telling us. Come on now you say you are a coach at Beechwood but you don't know anything. That is hard for me to believe. I saw John Murray last week sitting with Chris Wera. He said he doesn't know anything about the Head Coaching job. You people know more than what your telling. I totally understand that. But diehard Beechwood fans and former players want to know who the new coach is just like everyone is does. It is Jan 7. They are going through winter weights right now without a head coach. I would think that doesn't help them at all right now.
  21. I agree with you. Roy would be a very good choice if Beechwood decided to hire him.
  22. It would be nice to see who their new head coach is. I'm assuming as you are as well that since they are playing Dixie this is probably Burnetts job.
  23. I emailed them and never heard back from them. Does anyone know what this had to do with?
  24. I agree with you to a certain point. Beechwood had tradition before Coach Yeagle. They will have the same without him. Just because he is gone doesn't mean Beechwood is going anywhere. They just might not compete for a state title every year like they have in the past.
  25. I'm not a b-ball fan at all. I may be wrong but didn't South Laurel win it last year?
