Congrats to Cov Cath on their great win. I don't think I have seen a Beechwood team play that bad in a while. The fumble set the tone for the whole game. I wish I knew when was the last time a Beechwood team got shoutout in back to back weeks. I know it has to be a long time. I know it never did happen in the 90's. Maybe possibly in the 70's or 80's.

Is the end near for Roy Lucas?

I have another question here. Can anyone name the last time Beechwood was shutout? I can't remember.

I drove bye Thomas More this summer thinking there was a football camp. That night I went to Applebees. There was a bunch of Alter dads there. After talking to fathers of the Alter players they told me they had their own football camp just for them. They told me they did that because they wanted to get away from the parents. They did a good job of getting away from the parents. The last 2 games with Alter will only help the Tigers come playoff time. After reading Quicks comments about Alter there aren't to many Nky teams that can beat them.

I was at the Beechwood Dixie game. I'm very impressed with this defense. To give up only 3 points to a great team like Alter is a great. Should be a great game next week against Cov Cath.

I think this years Beechwood team is a lot better than last years team. I think they can go up there and win. If Alter doesn't have a passing game this year like they did last year Beechwood should win this game bye 10 points. Their passing game was horrible last year. From what I have seen so far you really can't run the ball on Beechwood that much.

How does a kid hardly not get recruited. Then he walks on to become the starting kicker of the 1 team in the nation? Wow I'm sure a lot of recruiters are sick over this one.

30 years is wrong. Back in 1989 when I was a little 7th grader Dayton totally embrassed us at Beechwood. I think the score was like 30-0 or worse I don't remember. I know we got our butts handed to us. The 1996 Beechwood freshmen team went 2-6 or something like that. I don't remember the exact record. But when they were seniors they won the state title. I totally agree with the Guru on this one. From what I have been told people that Beechwood won't miss a beat with Noel Rash being there. I have also been told that he is just as hard or even a harder worker than Yeagle was. If that is the case Beechwood will be right there where they always been in. One other question. I have seen you guys talk about Beechwood moving up. Don't you have to have a least 4 teams in the district in the new 6 class system? Since there are only 4 teams Beechwood couldn't move up. Big Beechwood's non conference schedule will even be tougher now since New Cath won't be there next year.

I thought the playoff format changed next year not this year. I hate the KHSAA. They should have left it the way it was. They have no clue what their doing at all. Sounds familar with another person in charge.

Congrats Tigers on a great season. I know they are hurting now but what a season.
