It is true. I don't think I ever heard any player ever call him Coach Yeagle. It was always Mr Yeagle.

Rat did you email them yet?? I haven't yet but I'm going to today sometime. I'm sure it does have every thing to do with Coach Yeagle. If there is a banquet or something like that I'm sure there is a very good chance I will be there.

How can you say that when Beechwood has beaten them the last 6 out of 7 times they have played? Yeagle might be gone but the program isn't going anywhere.

Congrats to NCC on their title run. I disagree with you though on the worm has changed. Beechwood isn't going anywhere. Just because the Best Coach in Nky history has left Beechwood doesn't mean the program will go down. I'm sure Beechwood will get the right coach for the program. I think Beechwood might be more dangerous next year with Yeagle being gone.

I think that Yeagle is a defense mind coach more than offense. He is good at both but I think he is more defense. There is so much here say on this site it isn't even funny. You don't know what to believe anymore. I'm not going to believe anything about this or the Beechwood job until it is annoucned to the public.

I wonder what they want with us the former players.

Congrats to Drew. I have a question. How come CCH the only school year in and year out has football players and basketball players who go to top notch schools??

Glen has it in for the football program a long time ago. Nobody can tell me different because I was there during the early 90's and I know he didn't like the way football was treated from any other program.

Glenn Miller is a joke when it comes to hiring a head coach so he shouldn't even be on the board.

I heard he did. There is so much heresay you don't know what to believe anymore. I have said all long I think it was Burnetts job to take it or leave it.

Who is going to take over? Coach Yeagle with all the success he had built this job as one of the best in the state. Someone told me tonight that he heard Burnett turned it down. If that is true who is the other candiates for this job?? Anyone know any coaches who has applied for this?

I was old enough to form an opinion of him. He is a good man but you and I have disagreed on this one before I don't think Beechwood would have won all those state titles with him being head coach.

Z I know that your a huge Bernie Barre fan but I hope they don't bring him back.

I know one thing is for sure it will be weird next year going to a Beechwood game and not seeing Coach Yeagle on the sidelines.

JD I know that your a big Noel fan but I think the Tigers can do better than him. If Bob doesn't want it I hope that they go outside of the program to get some new blood. I have one question. What about Greg Hergott?? Is he even considered for the job or is he not interested??

Congrats to the Breds on a fine season from a Beechwood fan. I just hope that Beechwood finds the best coach out there so these 2 teams can battle it out every year besides this year for the right to go to Louisville.

You may be right but one thing about Beechwood is that they have the tradition to compete. What Coach Yeagle,and what we did as a team in the 90's is awesome. I look back on it now after being out 11 years. It is still amazing now as it was back then. The state of Ky might not ever see a Coach like Yeagle for for the domination he had. Hopefully Beechwood will get one great coach. I hope they have their pick of coaches to choose from. But to do what he did will be one hard act to follow.

One thing I'm courious about is who has applied for his old job at Beechwood. I'm sure lots of good candiates have applied.

I agree with you. The way the whole situation from what I have been told is sicken. He should have been another Coach Bob to retire when he wanted to. I know that a lot of former players aren't happy with the way it ended. He shouldn't got out the way he did.
