No offense, but until Highlands beats Holmes or they play a schedule the strength of Holmes. They are number 2, They have a good team, but they aren't on Holmes's level imo. There isn't five better players in NKY than Jefferson or Rice. I like your support of your team, but lets look outside the cakebox and put a little more thought into this. You have Justin Pelle on the list (not a 9th player) but you don't have Greg Rice.

The last few years Holmes has scrimmaged Mason Cty and Lloyd, I think it will be the same this year. I could be wrong though, I have been wrong a couple times in my life.

Great thoughts, I think that any of the following teams can be the 4 seed with Dixie, Boone, and Ryle taking the other three. Conner, Holmes, SK, CC will battle for the forth spot. I think Dixie and Boone are locks to be 1-2 in our district. I think Ryle will be 3, but thats why we play the games. Holmes will be another year older and we lost a few games we could have won. It should be another fun year...........If August ever comes.

I agree that it would have been nice to play at TMC. But why should they give up a Home game to accomadate fans. PC will probably win at there place and at a neutral site. Let them play the game in there little gym and let everyone deal with it.

Very well stated, similar to my post earlier. Homecourt is an advantage and BB has only 6-7 home games this year. Mustangs should take full advantage and not worry about a few unhappy cat fans. Its not like they were very accomidating (or did they welcome us) down at PC. The only way I would ever schedule their home games somewhere else would be if all BB/PC games were on nuetrual courts. PC can play them at there place, but if its at BB they want a bigger facility. If PC wants to throw some money to BB, they would be happy I am sure to build a bigger facility. Five years ago BB could accomadate the 15 fans that followed PC.

Highlands should shut Conner down and win by 10-15 points.

Give it a rest, It is there home game and if they want to play at home so be it. No one should have to move a game just because there isn't enough room for the opponents fans. We all know that if PC'S gym couldn't hold everyone, the game would still be at PC. This is the way life is sometimes.

I think Dixie keeps this one close, but imo Covcath wins this one in the end by 5 or less.

Beechwood isn't a deadbeat, but if Holmes is full strength they could win by 20 easily.

Holmes should be full strength or close to full strength. Holmes should win this one pretty easily. Beechwood is a decent team, but I don't think they are at Holmes level though.

I was at the game and all above is true. Jefferson and Rice did not play at all, Austin Hill, Brayon Avery, and Arrez Henderson did not play until 4 minutes left in the first half. Holmes was down in the first half, but exploded and dominated the second half. Edmonson had 35, Hill added 18, Avery had around 10. The Dawgs played a very solid 2nd half against a talented team from Campbell Cty. Verst and White (I think thats his name #24) had nice games for the camels. Edmonson was 9-10 from three point land, scored 18 of there first 20 points on six three pointers. Great win for the Dawgs tonight without two key players, some young players got some valuable time tonight.

Henderson from Holmes has to be on everyone's list, he by far has set the standard in NKY for Sophs. There are plenty of good 10th graders out there, but Henderson has to be in your top 3-5 if it is a true list and not just a homer list. This is just my oberservation on this thread.

Duran Jefferson - Being looked at by a few D1 Schools Greg Rice - Being looked at y a few D1 Schools Arrez Henderson - Should be one of the best of the class of 08' and will probably be looked at by D1 Schools as well. All of the three listed above should be able to help a D1 level in 2008. Arrez may turn out to be the best of the three, time will tell. Hill and Edmondson will get several looks as well. Very good 07' class coming out of the COV.

Why don't you guys stay on the thread topic for once? Why does every thread that involves NKY have to involve Holmes, the thread is about HC and Dixie. If you want a thread about HC and Holmes, why don't you start one? Talk about the results of this game between Dixie and HC, I am sure that there is enough to talk about out of this OT game.

I will not speculate until his list is released. I have heard a few schools and all are D1 though. I will say that he will play where it is a best fit for him and if it is D1, Mid major, or D2, D3 I will be happy for this young man either way. I think he would fit in a MAC, AT10, or Lower tier Big East school, but I am not basis this on anything.

Right now he is 6'1" or 6'2" and you can probably drop the Mid-major from your comment. If he continues to improve he will probably play D1, I would say that Mid major may be worst case senario. This is based on his performance and his potential, If he continues to work with the right people he will get to that level. The problem he has, Is there are to many scorers on his team. He needs to shoot more often, but his ball handling skills and passing ability is off the hook. His D is good to. The three things that I wish for DJ is 1. Grow a few more inches 2. Get stronger 3. Work on his shot.

I don't know to much about Cincy Elder's team this year, but I do know that any time you play at the pit you are in for a battle. With that said I am going with Covcath in this one, I think TJ has another big game and Covcath wins by 4 in the pit. I say it will be 68-64 Blue Colonels.
